A Menuett composed by George Frideric Handel, played on two Tenor Viola da Gamba. (I don't know the HVW).
March of the Lillies

A short piece I originally composed for Trombone, Mute Cornett, and Violin, however I decided I preferred it for two cornetts.
A Feline Overture
Переглядів 62Місяць тому
An Overture I've written to an implied larger cat-related story. It features a fat cat who falls down the stairs and gets up, a fence jumping cat who dashes and explores through many different gardens, and a troublesome kitten, who is revealed to have tripped the fat cat at the start of the overture when the fat cat's motif returns in a metronomic 4/4 time signature. Finally, the fence-hopping ...

Catstoph Meowibald Fluff - Overture in D Meowjer

This resulted from an inside joke in orchestra where my stand partner and I meowed our viola part to C.W. Gluck's "Overture in D Major."

Original by Daniel Rosenfeld, also known as C418
Carried me away in my minds eye from the setting sun, through the darkness of the night, the dancing of the stars until they sleep with the encroaching of the morning star! Absolutely magical! Bravo!
DUDE THIS IS SO SICK
I really enjoyed hearing this composition! More please. 🎶✨
Full disclosure: I'm a dog person. And yet, this is so much fun! As a life-long happy "history" tourist, it gives me an enjoyable pause to consider: you and this piece may just well be the first viola da gamba overture written and performed in over a hundred years. If there's a cat heaven or the Egyptian god cats still linger, they are all purring in joy. Or meowing. I don't know. I'm still a dog person. hahaha While I can do neither sound, I am feeling the joy and gratitude for your writing and performing this. I didn't even have to leave The Emerald City for Egypt. Thank you not-at-all Sleepy and most skillful Antelope.
@@CaptainAlexander This one isn’t for viola da gamba sadly, however I have been working on some consort music… I should have it uploaded here soon!
😼😸🐱 Cool cats! 🐈
Ahhh... The New Math. This is f(x)=[(much^much)*more] fun and intriguing than the math I had to listen to in school. This is one of my favorite pieces so far (after the viola da gamba)! Hopefully this opinion doesn't splash all over my social media stream: "math geek" in Comic Sans characters painted bright Khaki. Please keep sharing your music. The numbers may be small. But the audience is monarch.
The original is by Daniel Rosenfeld (C418).
Definitely shrinkflation! The candy I get these days is a lot smaller and not nearly as interesting as this candy. I definitely enjoy the vocal parts. Hildegard of Bingen reborn. And thank you for posting the music. I can’t really read music. But it definitely makes me feel a lot smarter when I’m looking at it.
First, I am totally NOT biased by the fact that this premiered on my birthday. Nope. Not. At. All. Huh. How could I not be notified? Secondly, this is beautiful and vast. From empty space to an entire realm of music. I can't even imagine how it must feel to create such art and pleasure. I'm lucky if I can make pancakes. I am grateful for your calling forth the better angels of our nature; in melody and harmony. It adds grace and light to my world. Thank you.
Happy late birthday. (:
Hahaha! Spoiler Alert: This is no longer "an inside joke." It's still making me laugh. Someone has to be the first to say it, "Cats really are inside pets."
Holy chocolate! That was amazing and beautiful. I've listened to thousands of hours of viola da gamba and I've never heard anything like this. Modern viola da gamba. With 2024 music tech. Bravo! You could do the entire catalog of Sainte-Colombe all by yourself. hahaha Yes. I'm not someone you go to for great ideas. I look forward to hearing more. Remember, you don't need a million views to make someone's day a million times more rich and fulfilling. Thank you for sharing this with us.
@@CaptainAlexander I should probably dig into some Sainte-Colombe, so thanks for that idea. 😊
Fantastic arrangements! So cool to hear the music arranged and recorded in this way! Great work!
sounds amazing, man
The handpan adds a cool dimension to the arrangement.
This isn't my best, but I hope you enjoy!
Specifically the ending isn’t great, and I forgot the bridge… 😭
Very interesting variations in the theme. 😎
