Xuan Tan yeah. it’s too bad i don’t know much about cars, but i watch videos once in a while and learn new things. I’ve had this problem for so long though and i’ve taken it to two mechanics and the dealership and nobody has been able to find the problem.

@@misterrsirr Because most cars won't have this issue since Mustangs have this giant mouth. But don't worry though, it's a solid design, and Ford decides to use same front fascia on 2020 Shelby GT. So as a 2015 owner, really feel happy about it.

Yes it was 3" Stainless pipe with only a resonator. It had terrible drone before the resonator was put in. The tips were the stock tips and I traded that in on a 2018 Camaro ZL1 for my wife after I bought my ZL1 1LE

They are actually stock lights that have been smoked with Black mixed into the clear coat and sprayed. The grill is also done with that same process.

It rides like a Cadillac with the Kelderman kit. Very minimal body roll and even with an enclosed hauler with a car inside of it the ride was very comfortable compared to my 2016 that was on a 10" Fabtech lift with coilovers and leaf packs. I highly recommend the air kit to anyone and it wasn't that much more cost wise over the fully optioned Fabtech kit.

Oh it's coming! There's not a lot of tune support out there yet for the 2017's. When I deleted my '16 it was easy because everyone had a tune for that truck but the few that have deleted so far have ran into some issues so I'm going to wait it out until more is released. I have everything to do the delete already aside from a tuner and a tune...

Lu Wagner new straight piped diesel fords aren’t excessively loud in my opinion. At least not how they used to be, anyways. My brothers straight piped gas truck is louder than these deleted fords.

That truck had about 3000 miles on it when I deleted it. It was lifted shortly after I filed this video and I obviously didn't always beat on it but I put well over 20k miles on it after I deleted it and had zero issues with it. No issues before deleting either just wanted to open it up a bit and get more power before lifting it. I made these couple videos to show what the truck could do, but it's obvious that some people think that you drive them around every day blowing smoke and burning tires... These 6.7's are really hard to make "roll coal" to begin with they will typically only do it on a Race tune like the one I was running in this video.

I completely agree... I've gotten use to switching it as soon as I start the car though. I have to do it in the GT350 and Focus RS but the Focus has the Exhaust Valve deleted so even if I'm in Normal it's loud, it just doesn't POP as loud...

Absolutely!!! I love the way it sounds now and would never take it back to stock. In my opinion it's perfect.

Yes it's still quiet in Normal mode or in Sport Mode in 6th gear. As long as you don't delete the exhaust valve like I did on my Focus RS than you will retain that ability to be stealthy when you want to, yet wake up the neighbors if you choose to as well!!! I had a '15 GT as well and added Magnaflow Mufflers and it sounded good. Then I got the bright idea to delete the resonators... It was like that for 1 night until the shop opened in the morning and we put the resonators back in... My GT350 has stock mufflers and just the resonator delete and I think it sounds perfect. Around 8mpg but that truck had a 10" lift, 40" Tires and 4:88 Gears soon after I shot that video. In the video it was stock aside from the delete.

Auto Obsessed Thanks, im getting a new pickup soon and can't decide on 6.7 cummins or 6.7 powerstroke, ill be driving about 80 miles a day and want something that gets better then the 14 mpg I get now!

Stock you'll get better mileage if you tune the truck. It's just when you start lifting them like I do that your MPG's suffer. Also with a Diesel the Regens kill the MPG as well and that's one big reason for doing a delete. The 6.7L Ford runs way better deleted than it does stock plus you have more HP at your disposal if you decide to use it!!! Check into a Spartan tuner they have some of the best options and look for a shift on the fly tuner so you can go from Race to Tow to Street at the push of a button. Disclaimer though you will void any power train warranty should anything happen that's directly modded via a tune. I can say though that I put over 20k problem free miles on that truck after tuning and it was heavily modded to say the least...

I was running a +150hp tune on this truck for over 20k miles issue free. I towed with it on that tune and didn't beat on it but drove it like it should be driven... I know the guy that owns it now and it's still going strong on the same tune. I don't think I'd go over a +200hp tune without supporting mods but I'm sure it's been done before. All this truck had was Intake, 5" Exhaust and the Tuner that's it and for most of it's tuned life it's been on a 10" Fabtech Lift pushing 40" Tires.

Auto Obsessed I have a question.... I just bought a 2015 powerstroke that’s deleted and tuned but the tuner didn’t come with the truck. The dealer is ordering em a brand new one but I was wondering if I could just marry the new tuner and write over my previous tune or would it mess up my ecm? I think they are ordering an ez link

LOL I actually traded that truck in on a 2017 so stay tuned for that one! Hope to have it deleted here very soon...

It's in front of the rear axle. As you can imagine there wasn't much room under there but it was way too loud without the resonator!!! Next will be the catless downpipe after I install the tuner. Stay tuned for some before and after tune pulls coming very soon.

Awesome, thanks for the response! On my 2003 GTI 1.8T I installed a Vibrant Performance Ultra-Quiet Resonator and a standard resonator, and it sounded great. Now with the RS, I am building a custom system, but am debating on where to place the resonators. Thanks for the feedback :)

ETS makes a nice system if you want to look into it. It's the Extreme which is basically what I have but a bolt on system that you can get with the resonator. From what I've heard they sound pretty good and delete the exhaust valve. That's what you want to look for in my opinion because that valve is annoying. It opens and closes a lot more than you would think! Also if you haven't already lift up you floor in the hatch and unplug the fake engine noise box. It's the smaller one below the amp.

I'm not going to do anything to mine as far as suspension I'm pretty happy with the stock setup on the GT350. My Focus RS however is getting an Air Lift Performance Kit right now. The stock suspension on that is terrible...

The Lightning Blue is a Factory stripe and I added the Red to make it stand out more. It's just a quality 1/4" Red Pinstripe which is the same size as on the GT350R. If you check out BigWormGraphix.net you can order the factory size stripes with the pinstripe in many different colors and combos.

The Type R does look pretty good but still only FWD... The AWD in the RS is outstanding. It's seriously like driving a big Go Kart. Good luck on your search!

Thanks! Yes sorry I forgot to mention that I do have the BRA installed currently. I tried it without and the exhale was very long and drawn out. I plan to install the cp-e exhale kit soon with the HKS SSQV so she really screams but until then I think it sounds pretty good. A tune and downpipe are in the works as well so stay tuned!

At the resonators the diameter is 2.50" then it steps up to 2.75". I used 2.50" standard exhaust pipe on mine since I plan to run a full exhaust in the near future but if you want to replace it with factory grade then it's 304 Stainless. There are guys running the 304 but there's no difference in tone just a preference to have the entire exhaust the same grade.

Thanks for the Sub! The ETS Extreme is the closest system you can buy and bold on compared to what we built for mine. I like the deeper tones as well and went the 3" route to prevent a ricey tone. Also wanted to completely remove the exhaust valve as you don't realize how much that thing opens and closes until you remove it! So much better and if you keep it in Normal it won't pop really at all unless you really try. In any other mode though it's GAME ON and pops like you wouldn't believe. As soon as I get me remote mic I will have much better sound clips. Yes I'm in Pinellas County if you're ever in town we'll have to meet up.
