This is a short documentary that captures the life of renowned Yakshagana artist, Dr. Radhakrishna Urala. He explains how he got started and the complexity involved in playing female characters as a male artist. Apart from Yakshagana, Dr. Radhakrishna Urala is also actively involved in theatre and has acted in feature films like Ammachi Yemba Nenapu, Hope and Orchestra Mysuru. He runs Kalakadamba Art Centre to revive folk arts.

Namaskaram. What is the difference between avitta diksha and thiruvona diksha? Is avitta diksha for bhakti yoga and thiruvona diksha for Raja yoga?
Namaskaram. Swami said avitta diksha is more for spiritual seekers and thiruvona diksha is for people who wish for general well-being.
