Ovation Theatre, a 501(c)(3) based in Encinitas, serves the greater North County, San Diego area and prides itself on promoting professional quality youth and young adult theatre within the community. Ovation Theatre is an award-winning studio and production company where students of all ages, levels, and abilities can stretch their wings, hone their skills, and become comfortable in the world of theater arts. Ovation Theatre with North County School of the Arts (NCSA) has won numerous awards and is proud to be a safe space where all are welcome to come and create. that’s such a cool change! i wish we had cool costumes like that.. instead i had less than a page of dialogue to take off my normal costume and change into my dance costume, have my mask on, and be ready to be onstage by the time the dance started. lucky one of the actresses in the scene is literally a savior (i love her so much) and when i told her about my quick change, she made sure that she and the other two people in the scene said their dialogue as slow as possible for me lol
As someone in theater that takes skill and coordination and practice
So much practice went into that quick change, I am sure of it. Fabulous job!
