Replace the worn out 80 gig hard disk with a 32 gig SSD. Added a few tips I discovered on the way.

Second upload of this video trying to get good audio from this Nikon D3200 camera. Recording features stale drums from the Boss BR1180CD with 3 tracks of audio from the UBXa D. Preset C20 Chariot and B17 Imaginary tweaked for fun.

Hey Mate, I saw the video from the guy too, I have a BR-1200, I try with a IDE to SSD converter and a 60GB SSD but it will not work. I have a old HDD PATA and a converter too, from IDE to PATA, but the BOSS won‘t find the HDD? Ok, it is not the SSD PATA, but a normal HDD IDE PATA!? Maybe I have the wrong converter? I think a normal SSD with the right converter must work too, why not? It must be the right converter, I saw a SSD Plug that you can put direct into the IDE Cable, it looks like a old SCASI Terminator! But to buy all this stuff to hope I have luck and the BR-1200 will work with it…mmh…crazy. I love this BOSS BR Maschine, you can do a lot and the Recording Feeling the FX, Mix and Mastering, are Superb! I have a very good Studio PC with all you need inside, but the BOSS Recorder is allways Awesome! Why do you use the Boss Br that long time, what is your loving feature?
Hey Mate... I love the BR recorders. I have an 864, 2 1180s, a 1200 and 2 1600s. The 32 gig drive that i put into the 1600 in this video ended up in my 1200. Everything works great with the 1200. The IDE is a 40 pin and you must get the gender changer to 44 pin. I have never used the scsi scuzzy stuff. Those combination of parts from Amazon definitely work. Make sure you have your firmware updated to the final versions. Songcrafters.org is a great Boss resource.
