this is pure awesomeness wow! I sure love Oboe as a lead jazz instrument. way more class than a brassy sax with an attitude. I wish more oboists were into Jazz. really this is a perfect instrument for it.

I realize this is YEARS old now but WOW this is so nice to hear the Oboe played as a jazz instrument. Perhaps it always was but I never heard it. Thanks for sharing!

I don’t know what you’re doing these days but your playing is really stunning. Hoping other people get a chance to hear you. Double reed jazz is so unusual.

There are times when the oboe has a real trumpet quality to it, but richer. This was very nice to listen to. So so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

i absolutely LUV the oboe's sound as both a former woodwind musician and a singer. the sound it's capable of is spectacular!!! i for one had no idea that such a classical musical instrument could do jazz and how happy i was to find this piece. it's AWESUM!!!

Hey wanted to say love your playing and adore the use of the oboe! I am an oboist as well whos been dabbling in jazz/improvisation. I just had one question if you were willing to tell. What mic is it that you use on your wrist? Never thought about using a mic this way but it makes sense with switch between EH and OB.
