Why isn't a heat storage system a standard on most cars?
The goal of this car was fuel economy other cars aren't made to that, and simply this would easily take up valuable space
I had this on my SAAB many years ago, I guess it was intended to help cope with cold Swedish winters. It meant that the cabin heating was delivering warm air within a mile on frosty mornings. I wish all my cars would have had it.

There is not one single video that I have found on how to change and flush the radiator coolant on a prius 2004-2009. Please post one
It rather simple for this car just like any other just drain the coolant out and refill with new coolant and run tell the bubbles are gone and replace the cap. When servicing the inverter side of the coolant do that same just have to jumper the pump and valves open on the coolant resovior with a 12v source tell the coolant is bubble free if you dont have access to a computer to do that. Best route go with Toyota even if expensive purchase a coolant service.
+egn83b yeah I guess you are right. U didn't mention that u can't turn a prius gas motor on, with out a code. for ex brake petal tap twice, flick the lights on 3 times, open the door
Yea i know what you mean the routines to get the engine to run in maintenance mode or some hidden function. I don't own an obd computer scanner tool so I do most of my own car repairs based off the old ways just gotta out smart the electrics where you can. I gotta change out the brakes its gonna be a pain unplugging the truck battery and letting it sit so it can't clamp on the pads when you open the door. The prius is over complicated but simple reliable car.

The info I was looking for was about the little pump on this tank, can I take it apart and clean the pump and valve parts? Mine makes some noise and I would like to clean it out before it breaks. Thanks for the video.
Hi. Actually, there is a tool called a 'faceplate ripper' designed to do just that- tear the facecap off. In other words, the 'approved' approach is to discard the old faceplate, and most locksmiths will have an assortment of replacement facecaps for re-assembly. If you are careful, sometimes you can tease the facecap off without mangling it, but I have had very mixed success myself. A locksmith would probably to sell you a replacement if you bring in your old one to match it.
Is there any good way to do it without mangling the faceplate?
