“they come out and say that BUT”- that but says so much about how helping is so difficult. In reality that But, tends to imply they need you to do something to make sure others around you are safe like not to do drugs ,or bring alcohol, have weapons on you, or sneak strangers in. Many will not compromise that. I’ve helped for years and at some point, the mental gymnastics as to why continuing down the same path is best becomes the norm.

Housing in the us is so screwed up. The rich get richer holding onto homes charging rent or selling their backyard for an illegal trailer hook up for 800 a month...not paying taxes on cash deals...
