Subbed you, mind subbing me?
In October 2004, Southern Pacific Daylight 4449 powers the excursions from Sandpoint, Idaho to Billings, Montana and return on the former Northern Pacific Rails, now owned by Montana Raillink.
beutifull place tanks for doing this to let us now how nais its Guatemala
Too bad for it's workers...Sorry for them...
Go, Rich Keller & Co., Go!!!
I think Rail Link took over the Milwaukee Road in the 1980's and turned it around, from there -
Yes
que triste su comentario,
is Helena a capital of Montana?
It's fun to sail! Sailing in Flathead Lake allows you to experience Montana as you never have before with its snow capped peaks and the expansive Big Sky of Montana.
EMD power!!
mrl started in 1987 not 95 and we have had record breaking profit sharing every year sense.
I got lost near there omw home from a bussiness trip and fell in love...going back in the summer <3
The Soviet 14-coupled was a 4-14-4 and was intended for coal trains coming north out of the Don coalfield. The rigid wheelbase proved just too long.
Those Dynamic Brakes sure sound good.
man that MRL power was SWEET! nice video
i actually kno this train. Not nearly as many engines. Passes thru Chicago suberbs. Apx 3 miles long. Great video!!
@independentrailfan Let 'em trespass! Assets protection (railroad police) will get them eventually, if their dumb asses don't get crushed by a passing train first...Find out the local number for them, and call them yourself!
@independentrailfan The good news is that MRL management chased off so much business that the BNSF had to take back a piece of it...I am NOT surprised...
There are a few Montana coal-fired power plants, but the westbound coal trains as shown in this video, crossing the Continental Divide west of Helena, leave Montana bound for power plants in Boardman, Oregon, Centralia, Washington, and Longview, Washington.
@frekijsimpson No, the winters are cruel and terrible. Stay in CA.
You should shoot the whole manifest train.
love it great stuff, thansk for posting.
Amigo don't anybody put you down who the f..! Wants to do a fake train vid, i think this is a good video its not the first train with a lot of locos to help, people search longest train in the world and you'll see its not uncommon to see this type of trains!!
good video
Can I ask what is the deal with the 3 trailing SD70ACes having the MRL loco blacked out below the cab side window onthe grain train at the end of video?
Every time I see a "Rail Link" logo I just see red! Early on BN and ATSF merged in 1995, and Rob Krebs wife became CEO of a new start up called Rial Link. That's when a bunch of BN trackage started being sold off to...Rail Link...The infamous MRL (Montana Rail Link) turned a thousand miles of once proud BN (NP, GN, etc) into a scab line deluxe...What a stinking shame...
Read a travel log about a couple from Canada that cruised from their home on a Bayliner 3870 to the Rio Dulce. Very interesting reading, the boats name was "Diamond Lil", we have a 3870 & I would love to make to cruise down there someday. We are on the Mississippi river so may try someday when I'am dreading the thought of another winter in the Midwest.
@epistte Those are for the Boeing Plant in Washington. They are usually seen with flat cars carrying 737 fusalages.
@meccaturbo MTnomad10, please excuse this gentleman, he has nothing to contribute to your video.
