Holy Cross Parish Feast, Kurla Village 2023, East Indian Parade.
Built in 1580. The Holy Cross Church, Kurla this year celabrated 443 years. The east Indian community of kurla organises a parish fiesta each year on the feast day gathering all parishoners of various ward to participate in the traditional East Indian Parade. A variety of creative floats convaying various social messages, The parishoners dress up in treditional outfits, Various horse carts(Recklas/Tangas) from other parishes partisipate in the parade. The celebration starts from the Village cross and it passes through the Kurla Christian Village then leading to the Holy Cross Church.

While I have visited Malshej Ghat many a times this was the first time visiting this location. A reverse waterfall is when the winds push the water back. Just before we could reach the location the rain God's decided to move in so we didn't get a clear view, but it was a scary but awesome experience being at the edge of the mountain.

The second rider didn't even have his helmet secured, nothing to do with types of fasteners. First rider didn't look like he had it secured either! But either way neither were wearing a properly fitted Helmet. Too big for their heads for it to come off that really!!!
