I think US spends too much money on waging wars in other countries instead of spending it on education and trying to find ways to employ people. Unemployment leads to poverty and poverty leads to crime. That's a really sad story because over here in Europe you can go to whatever part of every major city and not having to worry if you'll get mugged or worse. It's really difficult to believe you've got so much contrast in one city - the super-rich in Hollywood and everday violence in SE parts. Sad

It's not that la needs more cops..the system needs to stop pussyfooting around and put them all in prison for life...the money that the state spends on appeals probation and parole and health care from gun shot wounds in hospitals will be more than enough to pay for more prisons.Los angeles is a place where liberalizm has gone wild.Who really cares to try and rehabilitate this kind of subhuman trash except a liberal anyhow.
