@SCC_004 Why use a round that combines the worst aspects of AP and HE when you can use a really good HE round and destroy tanks even at top tier?
@iampurechaos In my five years of playing this game I've experienced the HE getting caught on map objects and (in recent years) embodying the mess that is volumetric armor way too many times. The SAPCBC is just the HE with really short fuse (~20mm), which means it doesn't get caught on external modules or map objects nearly as much as the HE does, while still retaining an insane 5 kg TNT equivalent that can delete a tank even if you don't fully penetrate. If you are having issues with using SAPCBC then I recommend playing the Chi-Ha LG as it is a very fun vehicle and will help you learn how to use SAPCBC.

@@David-uc9hy Nope. I hit the roof where it angles down to meet the front plate. Due to my height advantage (and Soviet bias) it went through and struck the ammo.

@@da_pro1 i hit the angles part on top of the turret. With my height advantage neutralizing the angle (and Soviet Bias) it went through and hit the ammo.

Funny thing is that this particular sherman is a good tank if you play it well. I learned the hard way how to use the tank to get the best out of it. An enemy I went against had the same tank and if you go for the applique armor panel on the front left side, it's almost always a guaranteed intant ammo rack explosion. War Thunder is far better than the arcade game WOT.

Fun fact, the machine gun on soviet tanks have as little depression as the cannons do. If the cannon can’t reach then high chance the HMG can’t. Learned that the hard way many times.

This is why I hate grinding air tech tree 💀. I see real life gun camera footage and see something like a b-17 taking dozens of 20mm and 30mm cannon fire to the wing and be perfectly fine, then in war thunder, a single 12.7mm iai round disintegrates an entire plane💀.
