My uncle who basically raised me turned me onto pasadena back in 2013. It became like a ritual between us, we would just sit listening to the music. Whether it was the band or just solo Joey we both grew very fond of it all. We would listen and talk. Talk about the music, talk about life, it opened up a lot between us. He ended up taking his own life in the fall of 2015. I continued to listen almost religiously for a couple years. Joeys music was a huge part of my mourning process. It got me through the absolute hardest time of my life. I dont have as much time to listen to everything nowadays but its really special to me to come check out joeys pages every once and awhile and there is inevitably new great music. Im forever indebted to you Joey. Thank you for the music you have created and continue to create. Keep being you guy.
