Hi Richard yea it is 5.5 x3-3 meters x1,7 Fish wise is very difficult depending on size and organic load in the pond it may only hold 5 1metre koi but could hold a 100 plus small tossai if that makes sense I currently have 26 koi in there of various sizes and I don’t have any issues it would handle more Hope that helps Mike 👍🏼👍🏼

Hi Pete if you buy a good meter and keep it calibrated you will be fine It certainly works for me I had no issues all season You will know if there too much in the fish will roll over and jump then you have to act very quickly to neutralise 👍🏼👍🏼

Probably cos I bought a cheaper one. They didn’t go that far so looks like they’re ok, cheers Mike 👍🏼👌🏼

@@jiffsterkoi Hi Mike, All the fish in the main pond are going grate thanks mate buy on Monday morning I when out side to my conservatory were I have a grow on tank and the heater that I the thermostat went wrong and it cooked all of them and there was some nice fish in there that I was grow on to go into my main pond in the spring next year mate. Hi phil , no I won’t be heating I personally think a winter does them good they are normally quite vibrant by spring I have got the heater set at 10 from today but the temp is still arround 14 What are you on? Sounds like you’re heating through winter ?

@@jiffsterkoi oh right ok, I’ll be heating through winter just to keep the temp’s stable more than anything. I’m currently at 18 and will lower to 10 eventually.

@@PhilGsKoiPond 10 is a ideal temp I wouldn’t go any higher and it would cost a bomb to keep it at 18 all winter 👍🏼👍🏼

If you keep getting beni disappear like I did its probably high chloramine in your water. Because im in the Reefing aswell I sent the water off for ICP testing. High chloramine was present. My pond is now on RO and it seems to have stopped
