Welcome to the Dantero working Malinois video gallery. The videos you will find here are primarily of dogs I own, bred, or have used in my breeding program. With the occasional video of a friends dog or highlights from a competition thrown in :-).
The majority of these videos are bitework, but there are also videos of other venues the Malinois excel in such as obedience, herding, tracking, flyball and agility.

Dantero's Diego - hunt drive tests
Переглядів 111Рік тому
Diego is a 10 month old Dutch Shepherd/Malinois cross from mainly KNPV and NVBK lines. Doing some hunt drive tests with him on my property. I play fetch with the dogs in this area, generally standing by my van and throwing the ball up into the "pasture", so the dogs know how to access it by going around through the dog yard and up through a few open gates. This is usually a group game though, t...

Long shot, but whatever happened to Kilo? We owned his brother Murphy (aka "Bob").
He became an explosive detection dog for a department in Arizona.
@malndobe very cool! Do you happen to have any more info? We're kinda trying to get some more info on the WR litter for our own interest. What's the best way to connect with you off a public forum?
@@darinr5591 This is my, Kadi's, account. Jaime and I talk on FB all the time.
I've seen these types of obstacle courses but don't know what they're called. Is there an official name for this straightforward tunnel style?
I don't think so, I have just seen all of them called obstacle courses. Or puppy courses if they are like this one and will only fit smaller dogs.
That’s really good!
Круто, очень круто
Whilst commands are much better
Only if the handler is good with a whistle LOL And despite LOTS of practice, I have to admit I suck at it. Even trying various types and materials of whistles, I can make lots of sound, but not consistent sounds 🙂
Ever try a shepherds whistle?
Adorable and very interesting
Super performance
That’s awesome, congratulations to you both, be proud 😊😊
That was some excellent work she barely had to intervene
Please excuse my ignorance, but what is PSA?
It is a personal protection sport that involves obedience and protection (bite) work. You can find more information on it if you go to their website www.psak9.org or just search here on YT for PSA videos.
That was amazing! How long does it take to get to that level of mastery?
Depends on the dog, but it will generally take a couple of years of training.
How many became certified decoys?
If I remember right 4 certified. Possibly 5.
@@malndobe congratulations! Well done all. Big deal
Merci pour cette vidéo vive les lignes 2pottois
When’s the next decoy camp ? I wanna become a certified decoy
Congratulations!!!
more videos please, i am planning to get bm for my goats
good dog. Where's the pasture for the livestock?
If you are asking where the green stuff is, it's mid summer in S CA, there is no grass. The sheep are fed hay. In a few months when it rains again all the areas she's working the sheep will be covered in grass and then they will be out grazing again. Most of where she takes the sheep is their winter pasture.
That is soooo adorable.
Wow I am impressed, what a great job. Proud of you both.
Jasper and Ryan make a good team.
Amazing
Intense!
Amazing 😍😍 I hope one day I can do herding with my Mal although he’s already 3
best high drive dog exercise rig ever- dog powered fun- lets the dog gooo full blast under excellent steering and dog control- www.dogpoweredscooter.com

Very very nice
Great job ! Smart handling ! Not a fan of PSA decoy acting but I know it is necessary and they did a great job. IMPRESSIVE FOR SURE !
Good job.. its very nice to watch this vídeo.. i've never seen a malinois working like that.. Congratulations, you are amazing..
I thought you were saying howie
They looks so cute
😀👍🐕🐶🐩🐏🐑🐐🐮🐴🐂🐃💓👏👐
That is so lovely
Very nice, good size, how old?
He was 4 in that video
Who's that
Kira du Dantero
Your dog is absolutely awesome, you can tell he has great focus, and dare I say total love and devotion for you
That dog is amazing ! Great job of always challenging him
That's a really, really nice dog, loved how he took a quick look at you for the search command, great drive !
Thank you. This is his 8th class I believe. Although he's always played hunt games, it was just for a ball, stick, rock, etc. Super happy with the progress he's making.
Nice job Kadi :) BB sends his love from Canada!
Impressive, very very nice, how social was he?
He was OK. Kind of in the middle, not super social "never met a stranger" but not totally anti-social either. He got less social as he grew up, but that was due IMO to mis-handling and a lack of socialization on the part of his owners. Most of his litter mates were more of the happy go lucky, love everyone they meet type. He's working as a police dog now.
Beautiful work!
Love this 😍 we love a working mal
Neeyo says “ i prances i dances i bite them in the asses”
You have very nice dogs
Good girl CJ. What a clever dog.
Beautiful form dog
Nice. OB looks super pressured though.
That's just Ares, the higher his drive goes, the more "border collie-ish" he gets. He's not a naturally animated/prancy type of dog. He's been trained using balanced methods, but it's been a lot more reward then correction.
Um looking to buy one are they hard to train
Thanks for the reply back, would you say he is a good example of what you produce, a working dog that is social and able to live in a home situation? Love dogs that have good drive and are at the same time social with the ability to adapt to different situations and environments. The on / off switch
He actually wasn't very social with strangers as a pup, one of the less social dogs I have. But as he's gotten older he's mellowed and now he's actually quite social. In general I aim for a more social dog than him, although I prefer my dogs to be more focused on me then greeting strangers so as long as they are neutral with strangers I'm good. I have a number of dogs, so they tend to rotate house time. At my house, the more titles the dog has the more likely it is to be one of my main house dogs LOL Currently my main house dogs (3 of them) are an FRIII/PSA1, Herding Champion with a bunch of titles in other venues, and a French Ring Regional and National Champion.
Always great to get a reply back, you have some really nice dogs, I love their focus in work and their athletisicism, and l love to see them be dogs, your very lucky
Um looking to buy one would I be able to train him myself I never trained them and how will he work out as a family dog in house
