It’s been reported that the Padres are in the mix for Sasaki. He and Darvish have the same agent. If the Padres front office pulls that off then they’re getting Sasaki for the cheap and that changes the landscape for the Padres for the better. Wishing you guys good luck this off season.

Padres totally crapped the bed in game 4 in their home park. Game 5 will be a mad house in LA. Only chance for the Pads to come out with a win is to score first and often and take the crowd out of the game. If the Dodgers get going first Pads are toast. I have a bad feeling the latter will come forth unless Darvish pitches a masterpiece.
And Darvish did. He only threw two “bad” pitches and Dodgers capitalized. Yamamoto threw a few bad ones too but Pads (especially the one to Tatis) didn’t come through

You guys need to take more of a non-biased look at Skenes. There is nothing to knock about him. He’s got two league best type pitches in his 4 seam and sinker. His change up looked great. Decent breaking ball- and he will absolutely develop that pitch.
We absolutely agree that Skenes is amazing. Our view on Jackson Merrill is not a knock on Skenes whatsoever.

He got hurt yet again with his exaggerated instagram swing, rarely see him on any streak and imo, his antics/dramatics at plate, or running bases etc dont seem to fit anymore. We got ball players who are showing up to play ball, no sideshow stuff, just baseball and its working. Profars the only dramatic guy on team now but hes been great
