I can’t really tell what is playing on the frets but I can tell that he’s using a wah pedal and a fuck ton of reverb just like Jimi Hendrix this stuff is very inspired by him pretty much the whole guitar part of the soundtrack it’s just 60s style acid rock because it was very popular at the time
@@benhart8319 I'm the guy playing. Wah wah and delay. The reverb was added later by the composer and mix engineer. You nailed it! 60s acid rock lead guitar free for all. Those were my instructions. Definitely a fun day at work.

@@KenLasaine That’s crazy that the guy who actually played the solo replied to me thank you that guitar solo was really damn good it’s pretty much my favorite out of any game I’d even say it’s better than a call of duty zombies guitar solos I think you contribute a lot to the games immersion Most Vietnam games just play music from like credence or Hendrix and other artists like that I think it was amazing that they reached out to somebody like you to create an actually immersive soundtrack And of course there’s nothing wrong with using credence this game uses credence as well but they only do it on the main menu music I appreciate that they took the creative approach to making a amazing Vietnam era acid rock soundtrack
