Raping and plundering our old forests for profit. Screw you all
Cool get more of the operation if u can
Is this above Mapleton?
yes, it is Deadwood is on Hwy 36. its about 15 miles from Mapleton.
Nope I'm out !
that self leveling cab is like the self leveling "hillside" combines we used on the wheat ranch in Eastern Washington
very cool.
Ive always wanted to get wile e coyote and road runner stickers to put on the acme car at my last employer... never did but I thought it would be funny.
"Logging in the Oregon Coast Range is a real challenge, especially with tethering technology. The cable support system helps machines move through steep terrain safely and efficiently, but it also requires a high level of skill and experience from the operator. Just a small mistake can make things extremely dangerous. It's impressive to see the combination of modern technology and human skills to conquer these harsh terrains!"
Great footage!
Why do you keep those beautiul dogs outside??? They deserve a home not a stable
They are called Livestock Guardian dogs. They are Bred to protect Livestock,They have a job to do & do it well ...they are Loved, Healthy, & have protection from the elements just as our livestock .
You guys hiring
No activity
ALWAYS GOOD FUN!!! THEY LOOK HAPPY!!! THANK YOU TYSON FOR SHARING AND ALL THE HARD WORK YOU DO!!! GOD BLESS!!!!
I say drone drone go away. Come back another day. Because today we are ok. Dont need no drone videos. When we get tired of the ground filming then bring the drone. Not gonna get the details and explanations and close up action with a drone. Fuck the drone for now is what i say to the guy wondering about the drone
Where exactly was this logging done?
Whittaker creek off hwy 126 headed to florence from eugene.
Yeah, it would be game over if that cable broke you were holding down to a big tree
That’s very cool how the fog is just laying down there
The best logging videos are from this guy. No question about it. The best!
Starting to wonder if this drone actually exists 🤔 . Maybe by part 10 or 15.
what do you think this is.Logging. Close Call On The Riggin. Coast Range Oregon. part 6 ua-cam.com/video/hI3SrkxkrvU/v-deo.html. And this. Logging Drone Video Dunn Ridge Northwest Oregon. ua-cam.com/video/JE3eQGlTZLk/v-deo.html
Don't need the drone when the guy on the ground filming is doing the awesome job you are seeing
@trapf2698 10 4 buddy, but when he keeps talking about flying it for the shots every video, it starts make a guy wonder don't u think
@@dannyauger7223 I hear him mention the drone. I just don't care much about it. I like the guys videos regardless. I like the tone of his voice. I like his explaining. I like his close-up in the action filming. He has simply the best videos on logging. And he has worked up in my neck of the woods so I think it's cool that he probably knows people I know and I have been on roads he has worked on. Drone drone go away and come back on another day is what I say!!!
Getting BIG!!! Man they must eat a lot!!! Thank you for sharing Tyson!!! GOD BLESS!!!!
2 big machines to replace a chainsaw
One person operates them both. you cant find any good cutters anymore.
To replace Paul Bunyon
Talking straight out your ass I see
What size is the tethering line and is it powerpac?
looked like standard 3/4 to me
When I was building these with summit attachments it was always 1" for the tethers
Crazy
My dad worked for Crown Zellerbach up until 1983 and I see what they used to log versus what they log now and how small the trees are makes me cringe. Where is this logging being done at as in north coast or central coast range. I love the woods find them so peaceful and beautiful love the smell of fresh cut trees brings back memories of being with my dad when I would go out with him.
man i love your videos!
Can you decipher the horn blast for us?
will try to do it when I put some drone footage up pretty soon. I will explain it then. thanks
Worked around a bunch of those blue and yellow trucks. I used to drive for King. At the big W now.
pecker poles!
Yo this video nice Maine thank you
I'm glad your son was not injured. That big ol stump is where I was taught to find and keep track of and find a new one as we worked up n down the hill. Ruff way to make a livvin. I went back to school, and learned telephony, and networking. Much more lucrative and way more safer. Not near as clean a air of beauty of the outdoors. Be well.
TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT!!! GLAD TO SEE JUST OUT OF HARMS WAY!!! GOD BLESS AND AMEN!!!! THANK YOU TYSON!!!
Incredible video. Scary shit!
could have been a lot worse, glad he didn't get hurt.
Why did the hooktender string a skyline road that won't clear up?
Crazy logging operation
Good content but since part 1 you've been talking about this drone and getting the good shots but still waiting to see it. Maybe the next vid you'll pull that thing out and get some kick ass veiws. Keep er coming with these shows.
How old are those trees?
not sure
My guess 20-30 years max they are young. They will replant the area for future harvest.
Bacona?
THAT IS SOME CRAZINESS!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING TYSON!!! GOD BLESS!!!!
I know who this is. How the hell you been
The best logging videos I have seen. Watching from Oakridge Or. Tree-planting capital of the world.
I have done a lot of cutting and logging in your neck of the woods. Love it up there. thanks for watching.
Sweet videos. Nothing like cable loggin in Oregon!
See them teather logging, probably the craziest thing ever. Steep ground, can't walk on it without using your hands too.
mind blowing how steep of ground they go on. hate to have the cable break!
@splitnutranch oh yeah, if the cable broke or the teather winch on top lost it's grip.... every time I've seen em in use there's never been a tail hold on the teather machine. The pile up at the bottom would require cutting torches to get the body out.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING TYSON!!! BEAUTIFUL SCENERY!!! GOD BLESS!!!!
It was up out of Estacada Oregon out of Eagle Creek
Logging has taken a big hit there lately. Lost a lot of timberland to the fires there. At least the mills are still running strong, but they're bringing a lot of loads up from Salem and further south.
I miss working in the woods I cut for a long time and logged with a cat D6 and ran skitter 518 cat i miss it I got hit on the head with a tree filling timber and broke my back only God was with me and let me walk a again Please be safe watch out for the widowmakers come home to your family please
I have a video coming up soon where my son almost got taken out by a cut off stump above them that came down just as he had stepped out of way, it was tough for me to watch, i just happened to have my drone there when it happened. I have had that happen many times, puts the fear of God in ya. I miss cutting timber and logging as well, don't miss rigging trees and intermediate supports though. I don't miss tending hook at all. LOL
How old are those trees?
Pretty cool. Don’t see many brightwater yarders this side of the water .
THAT IS SOME CRAZY MACHINERY!!! THANK YOU TYSON!!! GOD BLESS!!!!
Way to destroy the environment. Ruins stream habitat from erosion and adds to climate change.
Do these guy have game cames for watching the animals and ppl at night would be cool to see what shows up when they gone
elk and deer go in and feed on moss and lichen on the downed timber at night.
