5 Flavor Packed Camping Meals Made Easy - Pesto Swiss Sandwich, Kimchi Fried Rice And More
There's nothing wrong with eating hot dogs, burgers or bacon & eggs at camp, but I wanted to minimize my cleanup and prep while being able to eat a larger variety of food with more nutrition included.
Here are 5 different meals that I made throughout 3 nights of camping. They range from simple to borderline complex, but I simplified the process as much as possible so that you can make it too!
What are some of your favourite camp meals or hacks to elevate your camp cooking? Let me know in the comments.

Nice
Eating like royalty!
Can you link the butane cover please. Thanks!
Love this! Taco bout good food 👍
😂😂 thanks!
Yum!! These all looked so good!
Thanks! They really were 🙏🏽☺️
Loved this video! So satisfying to watch
Thank you! Even more satisfying to eat 😂
Good call on the pot insulator! Gonna try and make one this weekend with extra reflextix I have. I also pre-cut / make stuff at home too. Saves so much time.
The insulator is a game changer especially because I’m using a titanium pot. Pre cut is 👌🏽. Thanks for watching!
Nice tent
Dudes got like $500 worth of plates and cutlery in there. lol. 😂
In the most budget friendly bin 😂
And it helps to have the fumoto drain plug 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Full video on my channel 😊
You explain things so thoroughly! I probs will never change my own oil but i learned a few things from this video haha
Thanks! You can change you own oil I believe in you 🙏🏽
Tell me about the sanitary solution for your dishes?
Its a couple drops of natural soap with water. Spray soak wipe
I dont care what anyone says Crocs and the like are the best camping shoes lol
@jaypher Agreed, so versatile, easy to use and clean!
wheres the trowel
I think I buried it on an island
I use this box for camping as well. It holds all my in-tent (bit of a glamper) gear such as lamps, toiletries, charging gear, first aid, air pump etc while also serving as an end table beside my cot.
Perfect way to use it, great to have it as a little table as well. Thanks for sharing!
Great list of gear! I just picked up a canoe and can't wait to take it camping. Would you mind sharing the lake that you camped at?
This was in Crown Land in Ontario Canada. Shoot me an email for more info @ tacomanzofficial@gmail.com or DM me on IG, link in description. Get out there and camp!
Coolbbox!
I've never been a fan of coolers on canoe trips, too bulky on the portages and they are a subpar food storage/safety option. But on a short trip with no portaging or bears that cooler looks good. Great gear choices!
Thats a great point, this was a short portage so it was easy to bring the cooler, a few hundred meters at best. Definitely leaving at home for longer portages. Thanks for watching!
Idol .. Great info again .. Keep em coming
Thank you as always!
You are one cool dude. I like these videos. Keep it up 🙌🌟🔥
Appreciate it, more to come!
Great video!!!! Thank You
Do you camp with a gud doggo?
I used this box on a recent trip and realized on a very dewy morning that my utensil roll snaps over the long black handle when I hung it forward to the front of the box. Campcraft Outdoors utensil roll (I had custom made with 5 slots & extra loops on the side for S hooks - hang dishcloth, towel, longer tongues, etc…). I liked the size & shape of the Coho box so much I bought another one. It fits the GSI bugaboo non stick fry pan at the bottom too, my big SS bowl which fits the kitchen aid strainer and then set of SS pots (Tfal Ingenio), GSI SS kettlist.
That’s amazing, thanks for sharing how you use it. Such a versatile little box
How do you used the moon stand with the tall butane. Do you have an adapter
Yes I have an adaptor. I’ll be making a video explaining and reviewing my stove setup in the near future
What table are you using underneath the box? You never made mention of it in your vid? Thx in advance 👍
It’s a folding shoe rack from ikea!
@TACOMANZOFFICIAL Dude, that's awesome. I love it when something that's manufactured is used for other applications other than what it was meant for. Thx 👍 😊
Just picked up the same box recently. Fits my Peos base camp stove perfectly. Good selection in there!
Cool stove and brand, thanks for sharing!
Another banger 🌮
Respect 🤝🏽
You had me at the pure over coffee.
@@DPM-dp9on a necessity 😂
Wow. What an excellent video.

Congrats on the truck and looking forward to your future content- Tacoma/camping/diy sounds like winning combo for a channel:)
Thanks! Yes it sounds good at least on paper lol
Just seen these last Costco trip. I should have picked one up!! Might have to go back soon and grab one!!
@@the_true_north_edc super worth it, sometimes I see them on sale for 39.99!
0:56 I like the pouches on the top lid
Likewise, very convenient for small gear
Nice and handy
Thanks for watching!
Brilliant, good for you thank you for sharing
What tent are you using in this video?
@@amster60 it’s a Marmot Tungsten 4P. I talk about it in my Essential Camp Gear video if you’re interested. The thumbnail is linked at the end of this video
Great video! Excellent commentary and filmed well! Keep it up
Thank you! Definitely more to come!
Nice! I just built mine last week. Can I ask what program you are using? And what that black rubber(?) flooring you are using?
@@NVLunarTaco so helpful to have, any differences in your build compared to mine? The CAD program is called SHAPR3D and the rubber floor mat is a generic mat I bought from Costco in Canada.
Thanks for sharing
Let's taco bout it 😂
@@JV-eb6hy 😂
good review!!
@@abbyjeydee Thanks!
I like this idea I think I will try to do one instead of the loads of kit all over the place
@@chewbarker110 it helped me with that same issue. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tour! This gave me a lot of great ideas. I’m a completely beginners and would like to know what you consider as the most essential of all your gear
I have an essential gear video linked to the end of this video. Thanks for watching, hope you get out there and camp!
Great video. I travel in my Jeep and looking to consolidate and minimize what I carry on my road trips. Looks like we carry the same Mora Kniv and Bellows. I'm trying to replace my Eureka two burner stove and like your setup. Can you make a video on the Camping Moon stand? Do you have the Z01 or Z02? Does the MSR pocket rocket work with the Camping Moon stand? Also, it would helpful if you made a video cooking on the stove with the stand.
@@enriquepadilla8826 I have the Z01 which is the taller stand. Yes the Pocket Rocket works since the stand uses a Lindal valve similar to isobutane canisters. Thanks for the video recommendations I’ll highly consider it!
yup i mounted one on my harley 😁
