One of my bands opened for Dead Moon at the 7th Street Entry around this time. Sweet people. They made it upstairs to watch the openers. Fred, after our set: "I want that guitar (a 1959 Les Paul reissue)." Me: "It's got too many knobs for you, Fred."

The Spits seem like the final punk band. Also nice 42 minute set, I have seen The Spits on tour live 3 different times and they played between 18-20 minutes tops.

I drinked a bottle of champagne with Toody, Fred and Andrew after their gig in Paris 2004 to celebrate the birth of my first son. They were rockers and just nice, nice, nice persons. Love to you Toody, RIP the boys.

Pure rock and roll. My favourite band ever. Seen them a few times live in Greece and met them and had a few drinks backstage. What a experience. Love them.

One of the greatest bands that most people have never heard of..

I have seen Dead Moon lotsa times at Club Vera in Groningen. I will never forget Andrew Loomi in the Kelderbar drunk but being a nice guy. I`m 60 now and i still wish i could light the path that leads to a life of no mistakes. Forget it. No way. There is no such a path.

I miss these guys, much respect to them for coming to the bottom of the world, i named one of my albums Candles in honor of the inspiration i got from 'Dead Moon'. I remember having a few warm ups with Andrew and he went on to play a killer set and then they all came back to the after party. Awesome times. They came a few times to New Plymouth and a had the privilege of their company a coulpe of times they were here.

Legendary, saw them in Groningen The Netherlands, beer got spoiled on the drums and gave a massive effect while they kept playing. Next day huge hangover hehe.
