Can You REALLY Drive to Yelapa? Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco Mexico
Переглядів 1,8 тис.3 місяці тому
Tourists often come through Boca de Tomatlan to catch a boat taxi to Yelapa. Hwy 200 from Puerto Vallarta begins to go inland and away from the coast after Boca de Tomatlan. The boat ride along the coast is a beautiful and enjoyable trip taking approximately 30 minutes by boat. We wanted to explore the area and to see if we could actually drive. The village itself does not allow cars. They use ...

Thanks for the 2024 info on how driving MX200 is. If you listen to the nanny state, this is bandito country, but clearly not so, and likely well patrolled too by La Guardia. Love the Playa de Iguanas fooling around!

I wish you had given a brief commentary. I went to the beach where some of the Sue Lyon scenes were filmed, and we had an excellent lunch there. I also took the tour with my mom and later my boyfriend when I got one in my 20's to show him the place. I love PV. Back then they showed the film once a week at a hotel south of PV and by the area where they had just filmed "Predator". It was, at the time, an actual film copy, although it might have been one of those big projector TVs to play VHS tapes. Either way, it was the most interesting thing in town at the time. Get a maragrita or 3 and watch the film in one of the all-purpose rooms at the hotel for us gringos.
