Early 80’s when he painted it for sure. That cowl induction scoop on the hood came on Factory 80-81 z/28’s only. I love that paint scheme… reminds me of the early 80’s Vancouver Canucks jersey.

There is a guy on Facebook in the group “classic correct craft boats” and he recreated the decals. I’m assuming you mean the small 3 decals on the rear of the hull. The gold ski nautique decals are original and were painted on.
