Pastor Charles Dowell’s Words and Testimony of Pastor Rufus Carswell: “Well, Elder Rufus, even when he was Brother Rufus, has always been a man that’s Yah Fearing, his character has been impeccable, he really loves Yah, and he really loves Israel. To Me, he’s been a great…A Great Help. Ya’ll know how much he travels the roads, a lot of those things: he's just taking weight, taking a burden off of me, so I can be free to do other things, so I can prioritize things that I need to do. He’s always been extremely reliable. I think what I love about him is…what we talked about, before we went live here: he's been an example of the way that a household should run: The way a man should run his house and his household: ‘cause you can tell a lot about a man by what his Ishas (wives) look like. Whatever his Ishas look like, you can tell a lot about him as a man, and so he has been a Pillar of Strength here in Israel. He's done tirelessly counseled with many of you, and helped you along the way, as he himself has advanced. I HAVE NO RESERVATIONS ABOUT HIM WHATSOEVER AT ALL, IN ANY WAY-SHAPE-FASHION-OR-FORM. He’s just a really good Israelite. Just a really good Israelite. [APPLAUSE] And um…it wasn’t me, like I said before, most people don't know how ordinations come about here at Straitway. I don't know how they do it everywhere else, but here at Straitway, we have to get Witnesses. We have to get Witnesses from The Most High Yah, to be able to confirm it in the hearts of at least two Elders. And then, even at that, we have a time or evaluation…I had it in my heart over a year-and-a-half/two years ago, but I didn't move on it…can't move on it, I mean, I mean, if the Law itself establishes, ‘out of the mouth of two or more witnesses, let every word be established,’ that's what we got to live by: That's how you know it’s YAH. So out of us communicating with each other, we get a witness, and then we speak about it, that's how it comes about. So, when Jeremiah 3:15, it says, ‘and I will give you Shepherds according to MY heart.’ See, every good and perfect gift comes from above. It is YAH that is the one that is giving the shepherd: giving the shepherds. So, ‘I will give you Shepherds according to my heart, which shall feed you with knowledge, and understanding.’ And we definitely can see that he has those qualities about him. He's a wise man, extremely loving man. You heard him when he was an Elder [he said,] ‘I ain't leaving the 99 to go after one, I ain't no Pastor.’ So hey, that’s the end of that! [APPLAUSE] He said words like that, I'm sure he's meant that in part at times, and stuff like that, but when you watch his footprint and his action: the words betray him, the words really truly betray him. So, The Most High Yah, uh, people call it an elevation. It is a calling, but it's a calling showing that you're more submissive than anybody in Israel; You're More Obedient than anybody in Israel; and of course, he doesn't feel it right now, because he's at the feast, it'll slowly start coming upon on him: the weight of it. ‘Cause every time that you get ordained, the responsibility increases, the weight of the ministry increases even the more-so, and Yah just continues to keep piling you up, because he knows that your shoulders is equipped to be able to carry the load. HalleluYah? So I bless…I bless My Pastor, My Brother, My Friend, I love him.” [MICROPHONE DROP] Well, there is one more thing: Pastor [Rufus], how many times have I rebuked you?” Pastor Rufus: I cannot count them. Pastor Dowell: Scolded you? Pastor Rufus: Cannot count them. Pastor Dowell: Made you feel like ‘that?’ Pastor Rufus: Cannot count. Pastor Dowell: Everybody go, ‘we don’t never see it!’ You wasn’t around. “When a man can receive correction it makes him a greater man. He’s at the point now, I don't even have to rebuke him. Ain’t that the way we should all be striving? To get to the point where we're un-rebuke-able? We should be living life in such a manner that we're un-rebuke-able, is that correct? ‘Cause Corrections and Reproofs are the way of life: the way Of Life. So he became the man that he is today…not because he came in perfect: none of us did. Because, he was able to receive correction and instruction, and then implement it, and grow from it. Sounds like King Rufus to me! Simply amazing, he’s always flipping the script!

To think all of that money went through Pastor Rufus hands and there is hardly anything to show for it there. But he did have two closets full of Jordans and trunk full of Jordans. It’s sad all of this stuff was hidden from us. But he got found out! Yah is good! Thank you Jesus.
