The ending insinuating that all statues are weeping angels freaked me out when I first watched it. And it didn't help that it was Christmas and my mother had all these clay and stone angels around the house as decorations. I hate those things more than I did before now, even though it's ridiculous😅

The way they left things with Rose has always been a little bit of a sore spot for me. Like, I get that the metacrisis is still the Doctor, and it's a chance for her to have a life with her family and him and not have to sacrifice her relationship with her mother and that it's romantic on some level - but the woman just spent years going through Torchwood training, earning her way into a position of authority, slogging through alternate universes, had to unravel the Time Trickster mess that happened with Donna and she finally gets back to the Doctor and gets to see Jack and Sarah Jane and reunite with the TARDIS only to be dumped back in the universe she had been working so hard to escape from. Not to mention Mickey switched back to their original universe, so her lifelong best friend and one of the only people she can really talk to about what it's like to travel with the Doctor who is not also the Doctor is just gone. Added to that, the metacrisis is not entirely stable, there's new personality to balance and he's stranded on one planet in one time with only Rose as an anchor, which is not fair to him or to her. It honestly would have been better for the Doctor to leave the two of them on Earth in their original universe. Yes, Rose would lose her mother, but that's something she was always prepared to do, and at least as things are left, she would have the comfort knowing that her mother was okay - that her mother was with the man she loved and had a family and was financially secure and had ties to a planetary defence organisation. Rose could join Torchwood, hold ties with Mickey, reconnect with Jack, join the former companions support network that Sarah Jane is a part of and build a life that she wants, rather than one that is expected of her. Also, the metacrisis would have the same support network to help him cope with being human and being left behind. He could reconnect with people he had left behind and wouldn't have to centre his world around one girl to hold onto his sanity. He could also look out for Donna, and make sure that she landed on her feet - from a distance - maybe even figure out a way to help her safely regain her memories. From a production point, and even a story point, I understand why Rose couldn't come back, but as they left it, it never felt right. Just like 'oh, you did the impossible to come back and just watched all your friends die horrific deaths and sent a woman to die, and most of the people you would call family are in the universe you fought to get back to, but nevermind all that, you're a girl, you probably want to get married and have babies, so here's a human version of me with another person's personality spliced in and freshly renewed war trauma, you should totally stay in this other universe with your mum and fix him so I can pretend you all lived happily ever after and never have to think about you dying, bye.'

The reason for the new Daleks is because of Amy. You see when the recreated the Daleks for the season one episode Dalek, they decided to make it tall enough to be eye to eye with Rose. They stayed Rose Tyler's height for Martha and Donna because they were similar height. Amy is much taller at around 5'10". So they made the huge Daleks to be eye to eye with Amy. When she is to leave the show, they will return to ones that were Rose Tyler's height
