Oh boy, I was kicking up my feet when I got to the first kiss; I like that the romances are another thing - like area exploration - that is measured out over the whole game. Sure it means you can't get to smooching your LI quickly, but it also means you don't do all the romance straight away then have to wait 40 hours for the conclusion. A lot my issues that I would shot first and always end of be the one who dies. And I get a lot of hit markers. There also time where ppl who shoot and get me way before I even have a chance pull up my gun.. but I been playing hardcore and find I enjoy that so much more. I learn I really have to slow my my play and everything. I been changing my setting and all of that. I’m not the greatest at all using all the movement stuff

The "who is responsible" button for the credits really does set the tone for this whole game. I love it and one day I'll actually finish a playthrough. It's such a crazy, immersive, unhinged experience.

As for Karlach and Wyl having tadpoles, I think canonically they got them after Karlach snuck on board the nautiloid to escape, Wyl followed her and they were both incapacitated by mind flayers. This happened presumably while the player was still trapped or running around themselves.

I think detect thoughts gave you the information that she wants to prove her authority, then the first option was to use those thoughts to manipulate her into releasing the tiefling without a check because that's what she wants to hear, but doesn't realize you lifted the thoughts from her head.
