What was the issue? I’m buying the 2s after 5 years of use with the first gen. Hopefully I don’t get issues on this pair like last one

@@carusmist1492 He's talking about the movement issue with the lid - it's not perfectly snug when shut, it wiggles a little, and it's annoying for an Apple Product. if a Macbook Pro had a wiggly screen, it would be a complete recall. I don't blame him for taking it in for exchange, I considered doing so myself. But I figured it's not the end of the world, and considering there was a slight issue with the last generation pro case, it was almost expected when I felt it on the newer pod case. You might run into the wiggle issue - it seems to be across all airpod pro cases for some reason. Apple will likely address it with the Pro 3 case...hopefully

what are you comparing them to? I think the bass is great. It's not going to be "shake your world" bass like a sub in a car would provide, but it's balanced and full bodied. i think you'd need a larger driver to provide deeper and louder bass

I haven't tried the Airpods 4 ANC, but I've heard they're great for what they are. I prefer the rubber tips on the buds, its better for noise cancellation imo.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that these have been out for 2 years now with no major upgrades to the hardware. At the very least, they should have refreshed it this fall with a few minimal improvements and slapped a 3 on it. Audio technology is advancing so quickly, there's always something that can be improved. I'm likely due for an upgrade as soon as the next generation comes out, but that's primarily because I work in sound production. I hope your pair lasts you a couple years - they are great buds. @@adnan_samyn They will last a while, you can always run them two years with Apple Care and replace them before your coverage expires. Then you could probably get another two years out of them, if you need to

Lol, it's really not that bad when I'm using the phone. I did mess it up pretty bad though, next time I'll get it right.

If there is a lot of dust around then put on a new one in the bathroom. Make it steamed up a little first. That will settle all the dust. Works.

@@sinan247 I literally pulled the dust sticker removal tab before putting it near my phone, the instructions weren't clear so I thought it was the first step, but it was not. Theres really not any noticeable dust beneath the glass, I removed most of it with another sticker.

Blue was my original choice when I was considering the White Titanium iPhone, but then I switched to Black and decided to match it with the case. Hope the "blue" grows on ya!

Unfortunately I believe the screen protector isn't 100% secured to the screen, which is what's causing the air bubbles around the edges. While removing the case does help for pushing them out, they always return. I'll need to get a new screen protector soon, but for the moment, its better to have this one than none at all. I hardly notice the bubbles while the screen is on, I only really see them when the screen is off. This case does not block part of the screen, but it will cover the titanium bezel of the device. So if you're thinking of getting a color like desert, white, or natural, be aware that you won't see the gold/silver bezel when this case is being used. You're likely to run into this no matter what case you buy - the only way to keep the bezel showing is to go nude.

@@iamsolFur I will likely purchase the same screen protector when I need a new one. Next time, I think I'll pay the extra fee for Apple to install it. They have a special machine at the retail store that ensures installation is flawless.

I really messed up the application process for the Belkin Ultraglass Screen Protector. Like, major flop. I peeled the dust sticker too early because the text instructions weren't clear - I should've watched the video provided with the QR code on the packaging. I ended up taking the screen protector on and off 3-4 times to remove dust/air bubbles, and while the final result is alright, it's not perfect. The edges are clearly air bubbled, but the OtterBox case makes it hardly noticeable. I think I'll use this screen protector for a few months then swap it, honestly, anything is better than nothing, as long as screen viewing is not impaired.

So the case is sparkly, but only on the black mag safe outline (lollipop). Hardly noticeable. It's more of a gradient edge on the outline - I really like it, but I can only see it when I look very very closely. Most people will not know it's sparkly at all. I'll make a follow-up video on the camera button, I'll update here soon.

Yes, as shown in this video, the camera button functionality is identical with and without the case. Of course there's an added layer with the plastic, but it still works the same as it would without the case. I haven't ran into any issues using the camera button with this case.

No it feels great. I came from the 11 Pro Max, and the dimensions are nearly identical. I think this device adds a few millimeters in length, but overall, very similar size to the 11 Pro Max, just smaller bevels. Originally I was considering downsizing from the Pro Max to the Pro, but after playing around with the 15 Pro Max, I decided its best to stay with the larger screen. The Pro felt squished to me, while the Max felt normal. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tips! I haven't played around with it too much, but now that I know what to do, I'll give it another go. It feels a little gimmicky to me right now, hoping that changes moving forward. How do you feel about the new button?

@@loganvossx I like being able to launch the camera with a mostly-flush button while keeping the action button for other things! The controls are pretty intuitive for me having used it a bit, but I wish it was possible to choose which/where adjustments are in the menu itself. I think lens select or exposure adjustment are my favorites right now, but I'm looking forward to being able to focus+reframe using a half-press which is supposedly coming later. There are also some options in iOS settings you might want to play with: Camera: - Toggling "Clean View" off keeps all the other camera UI elements open while using Camera Control. Makes it feel a bit less gimmicky since other controls are still visible, but I wish it stayed open for a bit when you interact with other controls rather than closing. - The ability to launch another camera app like Halide or Instagram using the button Accessibility > Camera Control: - Half-press sensitivity Lighter or Firmer depending on preference - "Show Adjustments" being off basically makes it only a dedicated shutter button but that does defeat the haptic/capacitive control

Yeah, I'm glad I tried it with and without the case because I was worried it was a case issue lol. Turns out, I just don't know how to use the button. Some good tips from @Xerpocalypse_ below, gonna play with it a bit and see if I can make it more intuitive. Good choice on the case, you're gonna love it!

I have a feeling its here to stay, but I'm with you on the oddness of the new button. I think with more customization features, it could serve a greater purpose - like being able to control what app it opens, and then also allowing you to control swiping up and down without touching the main screen of the device. At the moment it seems like a pretty useless button if you don't use camera zoom, so I really don't know why Apple thought this was a revolutionary new idea.

Why do you hate it? It literally frees the action button for anything else, and gives you more control over the camera than the action button.

@@KO_Manic It feels out of place. It's a recessed button, which is weird, when all the other buttons are extruding (odd one out). I haven't needed a "camera" button for over 16 years, so putting one there feels like they're trying to reinvent the wheel. I have a heavy feeling the button will be repositioned specifically for AI. the "camera button" was just a ploy to sell the device until they get AI out the gates. @@loganvossxits not a recessed button because it’s not a button. It’s a control touch system for the camera. And it’s awesome, been using it to shoot a lot lately.

I failed miserably lol definitely recommend watching the video they provide - you just have to scan the QR code. Don't fret if you mess up tho, you can just pick up the glass off the screen and try again. If anything is stuck under, you can remove it with the sticker they provide or a microfiber cloth

@@loganvossx they don’t have a video for the 16 models when you scan the QR code. Reached out to Belkin support and they told me they don’t have video instructions for the 16 models yet and to refer to the instructions on the box for now. I did it incorrectly too and ended up with lint under the screen protector. Another UA-camr uploaded a video on how to install a few hours ago so I ended up buying another one following his video instructions and the install came out perfect the 2nd time around.

Awesome! That will look good. I have a feeling the camera control will work flawlessly - the inside of the button on the OtterBox case has ribbed extrusions similar to the official Apple Silicon case. Time will tell!

I woke up at 5AM Pacific to place my order haha. I was a little worried because I switched my color last minute, but the delivery date didn't change, so I pulled the trigger. Your phone will probably arrive earlier than expected - I ordered an M3 Macbook Pro around New Years of last year, and they estimated my delivery date for mid March. It arrived February 2nd lol.

Hopefully I won't run into that issue. The sides feel pretty sturdy but I can see them being flimsy if the dimensions don't align perfectly with the device. I'll tap back on Friday and let you know!

Definitely agree, the front facing screen is a nice touch, especially for vlogging. I think the audio sounds great. I've adjusted my ISO back to AUTO because it looks a little too dark in low-light with the 200min 800max. Auto ISO is probably better for 90% of what I'll be doing with the camera. Also just changed video sharpness from high to medium. Uploading another short video to compare to this one. 🤟
