Wildlife and Nature by DTB
Приєднався 18 січ 2018
A collection of my wildlife and nature videos that I have taken while enjoying the outdoors during my free time. Although I am not a professional photographer, I am a passionate enthusiast who enjoys getting out and exploring the natural surroundings near home and afar. I am more experienced in photography, but I am starting this channel to learn and improve in taking and editing videos, which I am still a novice at. If you enjoy my videos, like, comment and subscribe

Northern Pygmy Owl: on the lookout
Переглядів 1367 місяців тому
An adorable northern pygmy owl on the lookout on a steep hillside, shortly before sunset, and shortly before beginning to hunt. On southern Vancouver Island, northern pygmy owls are permanent residents, remaining in their territory all year. While some migrate to higher elevations, many stay at relatively low elevations all year, as I see several families every season in the same locations from...

Amazing video, stunning footage! Greetings from a Swedish youtuber! 🇸🇪
Great stuff Darren! I was just downloading photos from this morning's lake session thinking, I should have taken video! Then I flip on YT and see your video :).
Thanks Brian! Yeah, it is sometimes a tough decision. Sometimes I regret doing one over the other
@@wildlifeandnaturebydtb2460 The good news is we can usually grab little bits of video in between. Eventually the time we spent out there provides ample opportunity for both. As long as our wildlife companions cooperate. lol
It feels really good to see that in so much detail.
Thanks so much
Love these ferocious little pom-poms. I’m always on the lookout for the tell-tale bobble on the treetops, but so rarely see them. Wonderful!
Thanks Rocky

@@wildlifeandnaturebydtb2460 Thank you for waiting until the owlets have fledged before posting your video.

Just an FYI, they never banned photography of Maiko and Geiko. They only banned photography on private/side streets and of private homes. So you can't stand go off the main street of Gion or Miyagawacho and photograph the homes or sit outside waiting for them to leave, but you can still walk the main streets and shoot. Just not side/private streets and homes.
all depends how it is done. you have 300mm which i think is a good idea
