He became the Good Badguy. Iove the different interpretations of this concept they're really intersting and fun. I have my own OC Hunter who's designed a vigalite and final Wander test, as while dominator was more so how far is he willing to keep that kindness, Hunter is more how are your gonna convince a person to not kill someone thats is basically just evil as wrong? Really pushing two perpective of dealing with evil to their extremes as both have their correct and incorrect ideals. Atleast thats that for now, as haven't seen the entire series that would change, I have another idea the instead ie would be DD's father as how i would add that to Wander over Yonder is have Domanitor's father be a reprsentive of her species compared to her, were she is the exeception due to well she never had tragedy she just caused it to herself. Losing everything a person could wish for, like loving family, fancial stability, Amazing Girlfriend and cool Tech. Yet the only thing she ever cared about was hurting others as it was only thing she found entertaining. So in this AU Her father would be a Wandern of the galaxy Like Lord Hater, mainly trying to prevent anymore Plantes from being a painful end like it happened to his and his daughter's own. Sending her letters to show he still cares in the mean time and maybe vissiting. He'd have a similar ideal of there are some people you can't save.
