Hey, sorry for commenting on an older video but what style rear mufflers did you install? The Megan OE-RS or the other ones that are smaller mufflers? Sounds great
Header dumped sounded so nasty bru
Fax might have to run a header dump for a month or 2 😂
great job. lets build another 1
Where did you get the trunk badge?
That is the original Lexus badge from the trunk lid with carbon fiber inlays.
How was your experience with these because I got them and I had to jamm them on them screw them in because they didn't line up with the studs, and then since it's a two piece I didn't know which pipe went on which header and in what position so now my mid pipe doesn't fit flush and I'm driving it to an exhaust shop for them to do something 😂
Mine didn’t fit over the stud either, I used a Dremel to widen the holes a bit to get them on. As for the 2 piece pipes, I managed to get them to somewhat line up with the mid pipe. Pretty much aftermarket to aftermarket parts on a budget won’t fit perfect. I was going to save up for PPE headers and a tune, but I won’t be keeping this car for much longer.
@@acesgsrcivic yea I bought a drill set because the lower holes weren’t lining up and I tried to drill those a little larger but it really wasn’t working so I put them on and the upper studs went through, and I screwed them on and it forced the lower studs to go through. But I’m at an exhaust shop now and they are doing a good job and making the mid pipe fit to the headers, they also moved the extensions around and they line up even better but not exact. You get what you pay for 😂. And next time I’m not getting ones this cheap. How are they holding up? And leaks/cracks yet?
Holding up fine No cracks👍🏼, I had the exhaust shop re-do all the welds for $90( eBay header welds will crack), also painted and heat wrapped them before installing
hey bro do you have instagram i have any questions
What did you have to buy when you installed the headers.. I’m going to install the dna headers with my invidia midpipe and f sport exhaust
Tylor Saechao The mounting holes weren’t an exact fit to the studs on the heads, I had to grind the holes a little wider. Buy oem Metal gaskets, it’s not worth using provided cheap-o gaskets. I had a exhaust shop re-wield the headers to ensure the wields won’t crack over time. Then I painted and added heat wrap.
Bro just save up for some PPE Headers you wont regret it
@@aleks3v3 Honestly, I just helped a buddy get some OEM headers and gutted the pre-cats in them. Probably the best bang for your buck, and we paid less than $200 on the pre-catted headers alone. Mated them up to a Megan mid pipe and kept the stock axleback mufflers. Sounds nice, but might get the Manzo axleback in the future.
Idk if you're still active on your channel but did you feel massive power gains with the DNA headers? And how did they hold up?
kriss yang I noticed better top end power and a little loss of torque on the low end, I don’t have a tune.
nice wltoyclimbing video~ i have k949, too~
Nice video 👍 I like the body
