Bridge gauge was 1.55 on Xmas and was able to get out for an early run. I love my medium jackson rockstar but probably would have preferred a large, something ive always wanted to do. One of my favorite runs
Clear Creek Kayaking

Clear Creek kayaking around 370?~ cfs. Portaged Ski jump due to not feeling the hazard danger at late day ( and many other reasons) but overall amazing and beautiful run.

maybe 600-800 cfs.. not sure. Feels great to get back on this run after feeling more solid in the boat, cant wait for the water to become clearer! First run of the (winter) year and hopefully many more to come. Love the puffy steeze!

Big Flat Jamboree - Trinity River Kayaking: Pigeon Point
That spillway is a blast, we went down there one eve during the featherfest and did some laps!
Where si this ?
Big Bend dam is on my bucket list. Looks sick!
Good stuff! Great video man!
I lived within fifteen minutes of the put in and that's the river I learned on. The ideal level is between 800cfs and 1200cfs. Any higher and the features start washing out. Notice that, at 2000cfs, the water is in the trees, which can be dangerous for the unwary.
@@keithfranklin2095 what is the ideal flow to run those waterfallls? I’d imagine 1500
Great video! Fyi. Theres only one N in Cosumnes
Thanks! I've been spelling the name wrong for years 😂
wonderful edit my guy
@@forestkan459 thanks!!!
we need the POV footy of the projectile vomit

Nice paddling
@@TheEbenger thanks Ed!
First place I ever boated. Back in the…70s
Nice! BRG is awesome. Kind of a mission to get to, but it's worth it. You should come back in the spring at higher flows. You'd love it.
@@matthiasfostvedt7950 I think I would be a tad nervous with those higher flows! Maybe it’s pillowy though…
Soaring! Hell yeah
Nice modified hand of god/T rescue on typewriter. Thats a friend in deed.
@@boulderingbadger6179 haha thanks! I tried to help

@@jordang5768 thank you !

For playboat it’s almost necessary or it looks like a no boat journey 😂
Ha. The paddle spin while sliding down a rock
what was the flow on this day?
How long did it take from chill bar all the way till Folsom reservoir?
@@ruslanlutfullin9688 I’m not sure, I forget to be honest . Morning to late afternoon
Rad!
Gorgeous. I ran a few different branches of that river a couple summers ago. Can't remember which ones. It was a blast. Thanks for posting.
I went mountain biking in McCall a few weeks back, and driving along the Payette I was thinking man I need to get into whitewater kayaking! That looks fun!
Thats a good roll
