I miss this game so darn much. My favorite server was ultra renegades...unlimited jetpack and rapid fire versions of all guns, what a fraking blast it was.

In Shifter mod, if two opposing team mates deployed the max amount of satchel charges and blew them up at once, any server would crash. The exposions were just too much lol. Good times when an admin acted like an abusive ass...

sad that prophecy games already gave up on this game. they said it wasn't doing well enough so they aren't even going to officially launch it. nor will they update it or spend any time on it. so fucking dumb. they didn't even give it a chance. they just moved on to some shit ass game called ultra strikers.

I played this game daily from jump Street. I would spend hours playing first with dial-up and then I finally got Comcast and that made it so much better. I even had a dedicated computer to use as a server to try and keep this game going when the support slowed down for it.... Gamer tag GreySquirrel.

i was in 7th grade? played tribes on a 28.8 modem before school. i remember hte upgrade to a v90... i dont think i ever paid for this game. a friend had burned disks of it in art class. that and GTAII. i had so much fun in these games. i bought tribes acended on 'direct2drive' way back in the day... i loved hte sound track. i wish this game could be remade (not updated) but just re-released for modern gaming. i didnt realize just how cool this was back then... all the mods and killer servers

Hey Stork, thanks for breaking this down for me, I really appreciate it. The reason I spot with zoom so much is because of legions, the models were so small and the maps so big it was difficult to spot early in that game so zooming in was a necessity. Also I felt paranoid in this game because they had just off-time routing that I never knew when or where they would be coming in from, so I just looked in areas I figured they could be at. My biggest problem I have on D is finding out (unless its obvious) who the third grabber is going to be, lots of times I guess and the second will grab when they know I am not looking at them. Thanks again for the breakdown, would love to send more if I can!

Thanks for the tips, really appreciated. Everything you said makes complete sense, especially after watching the vod back myself. The one thing I think I really struggle with -- that might just come with more experience -- is knowing *what* to do with information: play exit, bait a grab, etc... Spotting is hard, but I should definitely be playing around the info more effectively (and getting all 3 spots in the first place). Wasn't the best pug of all time, but it was a pug of all time and I still learned some valuable info. Thanks! Will send more in the future :)
