How to use Laticrete Spectralock 1 Grout
A quick tutorial on how to finish your tile job by grouting with Laticrete Spectralock 1. It's my favorite grout because it's the easiest to use, very durable, very color consistent, has many color options and looks great for a long time.

How to install a toilet
Переглядів 292 роки тому
This is my first instructional video so any recommendations or suggestions on how to improve my teaching skills would be greatly appreciated. This should be everything you need to know to remove and install a pre-assembled toilet, if not just ask in the comments and I'll reply asap. Some toilets come with the tank separate from the bowl, so I will make a video on that as soon as I install one. ...
Why I love g10 Garolite for my 3d printer bed
Переглядів 8 тис.2 роки тому
There is no glue or anything else was added to the surface of the g10. This is how easily it releases when you let the bed reach room temperature. It is nearly impossible to remove while hot unless you take the sheet off and flex it a bit.
How to enable servo calibration on flashforge guider 2

A quick little video they sent me when I told them my probe doesn't look like it's exactly perpendicular to the hotend or platform. Then you adjust the number a bit and press OK to see where it goes and if you need to adjust anymore.

    At least it ain't epoxy haze or metal scratching tile marks that require r&r tile.

    If you have a laser, the price of a holster seems to go up drastically. Would you do anything differently if you were fitting for that like a popsicle stick or dowell underneath?

    At the end you said "this is one of the only grout's you would put in the corners". Are you saying you also grout the corners with this instead of caulk?

    Please no-one ever do this. the fumes from kydex are deadly. the oven is ruined now. get the proper tools and equipment if you want to get the job done right and not put your health at risk

    • @HowsItHappening
      @HowsItHappening 10 місяців тому

      I read that it didn't start releasing toxic fumes until some 400f. I figured we were staying far enough below that to be okay. Seems like maybe a little cheap oven used outside would probably be safest.

    • @WeSellCards
      @WeSellCards 10 місяців тому

      yes a oven that you don't cook food to eat in :) it does happen at higher temps but why take a chance, and for sure dont show people on the internet how to kill everyone in the house@@HowsItHappening

    • @HowsItHappening
      @HowsItHappening 10 місяців тому

      @WeSellCards Anybody who's ever accidentally burned something on most coated pans has probably "ruined" an oven more than this could. If they did it with the pan on the stove, they are likely "killing everyone in the house" much worse as well. Just calm down with all the fear mongering. Making a couple of holsters isn't going to hurt anyone. It's s fine as long as you're not running a holster factory in your kitchen.

    Hi. I just found your video on Reddit, this was so helpful, thank you! I could finally auto level the bed, however my prints appear to have had overextrusion, could you please tell me if you calibrate the extruder (if at all) before or after bed leveling and if this is done before every new print. I also don't know what the "HOME" option is for and when to use it. Instructions one the manual are quite imprecise. Thank you so much in advance!

    • @HowsItHappening
      @HowsItHappening Рік тому

      @dylangardner5502 The track inside tilts the round up so the back of the cartridge goes into the front of the magazine first, then the next round, or the pusher, pushes it down, which forces it to slide to the back of the magazine, like it should.

    I loved my Creality Glass bed for a good year and a half, but it started to loose adhesion recently and I couldn't keep corners down without a thick raft on everything. Just received a replacement Creality Glass bed off of amazon yesterday and its terrible. I reached out to Creality and found out that they changed their surface coating formula from what it originally was a year or so ago when I got my Ender 3 v2 with a glass bed. I sent the replacement Creality bed back today and ordered some of this G10 stuff. Really looking forward to giving it a try!

      yeah but one picometer of wrong levelling and nothing sticks to it. Also if you print PETG on glass then good luck for your print bed, cause it's gonna get trashed soon.

  • @HowsItHappening

    Some people have said they have problems getting pla to stick. Should've put this is the video or udescription but you gotta make the bed temp a bit higher than you normally do. I do pla at 65, petg at 75, nylon at 105 and pc at 120. If I could get my bed up to 130 I would do that for pc but 120 works with a raft.

      1/16 inch or 1.5mm. I tried the 1/8 or 3mm but it's really hard to cut, and I didn't see any major benefit of going with a thicker sheet.
