My channel started out as a cycling channel in which i wanted to share with you all my rides and places I go. As time went on i wanted to document more of my travels, camping, fishing and a new sport i fell in love with competitive shooting. I just didnt want to stick with one thing, but rather share with you all of my adventures. I can't keep still. Thank you for stopping by! SWPL-USPSA Super Hot Day 🥵
First time shooting at SWPL USPSA and depsite the hot hot hot weather that day, it was fun. Temp was over 100, but thenaksd to my Simms fishing gear, it kept me cool all day long. Im still new to the sport and consitently trying to improve. These videos help alot when i need to review especially when it comes to stage planning. Overall fund day of shooting.

Last weekend i've done the full loop and quite disappointment. North part canal was ok up to Peoria although every underpass was full of homeless smoking pot. The west side, while a descent ride, was pretty boring. Now the return canal (Bethany Home towards the grand canal), well if you didn't see any homeless in down town, is because they have all relocated onto the grand canal. Absolutely nasty and smelly. Not to mention, dumb canal stops at the I17 freeway. Never mentioned anywhere.

Hey man! Love your videos! I been skunking out at balboa the last few times… can i ask what you’re using to catch fish? I’m new to baitcasting, currently trying 1/8 oz chatterbaits and jerkbaits but not finding anything? Can you offer some tips?
Thank you. Im using small tiny lures like2-3 “ swimbaits, craws. I noticed that lake balboa likes small lures. You can use chatterbaits or jerkbaits but scale it down. The brands i use are keitech and jackall. 2-3 “ i have been doing well just letting if sink to the bottom and just little pops or twitches. Its worked for me. I use anywhere from 1/32 oz to 1/16
@@paulsadventures137 thank you for the tips! I think I might need a different reel too to throw smaller stuff. Will definitely look into those throw. Went today and still skunked. So really wanting that catch now :p Btw, I’m seeing a lot of fish spawning right now. Do you know what kind they are?
@@atticusgb you’re welcome. If you ever see me at Balboa and say hi and i can show you exactly what i use. Dont get me wrong i do get skunk sometimes but majority of the time i catch something. Im using a Shimano Curado BFS and a Dobyns Sierra Ultra light 7 foot rod with 6 ib test line. Hopefully youll catch something. The bass spawned early. I was surprised.

Went a couple days ago and saw bass fry swimming on the surface and it surprised me that some bass were already done spawning.
Yeah I saw some too. I saw a lot of them swimming near the surface. That was crazy
The first fish you caught looks like the one that I caught about a year ago with the same scar on it stomach and in that same area. That's crazy, going in with the BFS setup this weekend and test my luck out.

Nice reel. It sounds clean for each cast. What is the gear ratio you use for your crank? I use a 7:1 but might be too fast. Keep it up 👍🏽
Thank you. I use the 6:2:1 gear ratio. 👍🏼I recently picked up a dobyns crankbait rod to pair with my Shimano curado dc 6:2:1 and is much better than the one in the video. The new rod is a moderate fast compared to the medium heavy I was using . 👍🏼

Not too long. Normally I try to limit the time of the bass less than two minutes out of the water after I catch them.

notice during the day no drug addicts on the canal trail? they are up where the "real" people are being "in the way". During the nights when less people are on the roads, the drug addicts swarm the bike trails and parks looking to be "in the way"
Oh wow would have never throughly there would be dug addicts there. Luckily there were none in the day time or else someone would have gotten hurt. Not being from there I would have not thought that place would be filled with drug addicts. Thanks for letting me know next time I visit to not ride at night on that path.
