One of the best bits about RC off roading for me is the challenge of tackling difficult terrain. The models you can get now are incredibly capable out of the box but can be improved further with a few modifications!

It's from a Mercedes Benz key chain. The badge is a removable token that slides out of it that's meant for unlocking shopping trolleys. I got mine off Amazon. Search for "Mercedes Benz Daimler Keychain, Silver, Cast Zinc Nickel Plated".

😂This one does have the Fusion SE under the bonnet. Been really impressed with it so far and it really tidies up the wiring. May get one for the TRX4 eventually so keep playing that record!

Cheers mate 😊It's a pretty heavy body already so I'm trying to find some softer springs to give it a more realistic "wobble" over rough terrain. The trailer has no suspension & if it was any heavier, I'd struggle to pull it up any loose climbs. I suppose that's all part of the fun though 😂

@dg7943 No problem. If you fit these, you'll need either wider hex hubs or a washer to increase the offset by 1 - 2mm otherwise the tire rubs on the steering rod ends. Great wheels though - add some very useful low down weight. Edit - Having now fitted these wheels to the rear as well, I found the wheel rims were rubbing on the top of the portal drive housings causing the diffs to bind. Fitted 8mm hex hubs all round and all now good.

Thanks very much! The soft top was done with some medium weight fabric, orange elastic for the straps and buckles are from a doll's clothing supplier online. Also used a good amount of my wife's sewing skills! There's some narrow strips of Plasticard sewn in around the edges to reinforce it where the small screws pass through to secure it to the body.
