I've owned two of the newer models, they're just not as cool as the WD1, very similar but I can't quite put my finger on what's missing from the new ones that makes them less cool.
I agree. The newer models are good instruments, but they are very different from WD1.

@@luckyyjp Oops, that's what I meant! If course it was super expensive (probably still is!) and the Wavedrum Global is pretty good. I had the silver Wavedrum (2nd gen). It was also okay, but had a very low output/noisy.

Holy shit dude, not sure if you’re aware but Danny Carey the drummer of TOOL has used one of these in his setup since the mid 90s It’s wicked to be able to hear the isolated sounds, many thanks for the no bullshit video

That thing sounds really awesome. Is there a delay built in? When I saw them advertised this, I thought it looked really basic but now, after hearing it, and I can see, there are almost no patch points being used I realize it’s very deep.
It has built-in delay and feedback. Its function is very simple, but the sound is really amazing!

Thanks for sharing. There were no videos of this model playing the samples and I was curious to hear them since I own a Wavedrum Global Edition. Most of the samples sound familiar. I'm also jealous of your pedal, I think mine doesn't have an option to add one.
