It is indeed. From the whole Like/Dislike statistics that I see, I get that some people don't like the whole pixel camera, bitcrushed audio style, other people (for whom I am sincerely grateful) do like what I am trying to do with the whole "retro" thing - but ultimately it's up to the viewer to decide. The Playthrough is almost done anyways, so if someone enjoys watching it, I'm glad - If someone doesn't like it, that's totally cool, just don't watch it 😉

Hello, thank you for your feedback and support, deadbydawn745! I can definitely recommend one game that i plan on making a youtube playthrough of. I replayed this shooter probably about 10 times by now and it still doesn't cease to impress me. Search for "Ashes 2063", its a Doom Total Conversion that's set in a post-apocalyptic America. You play as a scavenger that kills mutants, bandits and then encounters a strange radio transmission and his adventure starts from there. The team behind Ashes 2063 has already made three additional expansions since then, and they are all very very solid. That's my recommendation for you!

This is a common bug on the newer systems but I don't remember what the fix was since I played this game several years ago. If I recall correctly, you need to download some kind of a dll file that will make the circles visible. Google this, there were several threads that solve this problem on the Steam Community

@@yado175 The interesting thing is (IMO), and this applies to Warcraft Orcs and Humans - the limited squad size and the necessity to use the keyboard for unit commands really gave this game a unique charm... and a one of a kind difficulty experience 😅

@@TheSOB I had played some newer games before playing WC1 (this was at around 2001-2002), but even though it was an older game by then, I absolutely loved it

Warcraft was a brilliant RTS back in the day, I wish they could make a proper Warcraft IV, but that's not very likely to happen though :(

@@G3N3GAMING They would have to do that after World of Warcraft and that isn't likely to happen for a decade or two or more.

@BeyondDaX , yep, they pretty much took the franchise into a different direction. An RTS doesn't seem likely in the nearest future, unfortunately

@adammiller1316 I loved playing this game as a kid, even though by then it was already about 8 years old, and games aged very fast back in those days. But I Still loved every second of Warcraft Orcs and Humans, it's an amazing beginning for an amazing franchise

The controls were a bit tough, especially when you had multiple units under your command. But yeah, Best Way refined and improved the whole interface in their newer games though

@A--HoangVoGiaHuy it's a well designed mission (for the first mission in the game that is). You basically get an OP tank that shreds everything in it's path :D

@@G3N3GAMINGyeah the whole soviet campaign is generally well designed apart from Sevastopol mission. Idk why they dont give us the ability to call an aa b4 we fall to 2nd line. And about fog ,I agree with you too, try playing with it in disaster in tunisia mission is a disaster lol, like how can’t you not see enemy in flat morning desert ?

@FordFalcon1962nBlue When a game brings so much memories, you know it's a good one! I bought it basically as soon as it came out because I saw an article about it in a gaming magazine. By this I played (and loved) games like Sudden Strike 1 and Blitzkrieg, and I knew that I have to try this game out as soon as I saw it in that article.

i just picked this game up today on steam for 78 cents, it runs well but i notice the shadows ' dance ' around alot while using any vehicle, i wonder if that occurred on the non-steam CD version? i hope it continues to run smoothly

@FordFalcon1962nBlue it's hard to say,it's obviously an old game that can run with all kinds of crazy issues... I remember vaguely that I needed to download some kind of a dll package to make some textures appear properly

@@saeedghazanfari9789 I haven't used this Nebelwerfer and don't know for sure, but here is what the internet says: In the left corner of the map, there will be a garage that's covered by some trees. These trees can be removed with an anti-tank grenade. Inside the garage there will be three germans. After killing them, you can take the Nebelwerfer.

An StG-44 in 1941 really is something, lol! I've noticed that fun little bit of detail as well :D

I tried meleeing like one soldier in this mission (IIRC atleast). But yeah, this is a great game, and for its time - it was absolutely amazing

They wanted to make a 2 in 1 type of a project - a movie and an RTS game :D

It will be challenging, I have some missions done already but I need to edit them

@games01235 I haven't, after I finished Soldiers I've moved onto other games. As for Men of War, I'll make all the videos, I'm just currently super busy, hopefully I'll find some time soon to continue with what was started
