One of my favourite albums of all time.

Amen!!! Question? Lately as I am reading scripture I get a strong sense of the separation between The Lords words and how it relates to the world. “The world “ being overrun with sins seems the wrong place to apply Love, patience,even forgiveness it seems those should be applied to the most personal trusted relationships of family and close friends? Am I making any sense? Why should allow the wicked to receive any of my attention or consideration? They are of the world and choose not to hear the Lords word no matter how loud I deliver it . I got myself twisted in knots over this……

Complaining gets old quickly and brings me & others down. When it's hard for me to stay positive, besides praying about it, I try to remember the words of Bambi's friend Thumper: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!" 😉 Thank you for this sermon Jeremy, I loved the message. the song "the funeral song" actually became a mystery for a while! someone who goes by the username "centralmuzik", once recorded this song from a french FM radio circa 1995-1996, years later he uploaded the recording of the song online in hopes of someone finding who made it, and some time later, a guy who goes by the name of "randolurker" identified it to be "the funeral song", one of the songs in the album! (sorry if my english is a little bad)

not 1966 but November 1965

I agree. In the early 90's I began discovering the music from the sunset strip from that era. The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield, Love and others. This is a great album as in Notorious Byrd Brothers

I did some research on this *Jeremy* and according to pre-press plans for 'The White Album', Paul had requested “…as stark a contrast to Peter Blake’s vivid cover art for 'Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band' (The Beatles previous album) as possible; the complete opposite of it.” Beatles historian Mark Lewisohn confirmed that Apple “commissioned various designers to come up with sleeve ideas.” Paul had wanted to include an elaborate booklet, which became the lyric poster and photos idea. The album was recorded partly under the working title 'A Doll’s House' but the title was scrapped when progressive rock band Fam­ily released 'Music in a Doll’s House' earlier in the year. The album that you show in the video 'The Beatles Ballads' has an illustration of the Beatles by artist John Byrne (Patrick) and is widely reported to have been considered for the cover of 'The White Album' but this is simply not true! The illustration did appear on covers for the Netherlands LP 'De Mooiste Songs' as well as the UK release 'The Beatles Ballads'.
