Long Time...I'm owing to be in my 1st chainsaw competition on the 19-22 at the 2nd annual Western Canada International Invitational Chainsaw Carving Competition in Nisku , Alberta @ RIG HAND Distillery....Amateur Division.....gotta start somewhere......Hope to see you there. Good technique with creating that spoon blank. I'm not too familiar with cottonwood bark but was wondering how porous is it? Would you use the finished cottonwood spoon for liquids or just dry goods? Thanks for the video.

Just found you through a random recommend. Great job at making it nice and smooth you could try double sided tape on the back so it won't slide off the table so much or the tape and the superglue trick. Just my opinion though.
