As long as the scenes in Venice are set earlier in the film than those in the desert, we can rest easy, because in the desert she comes to Ethan's aid during that horse hunt. But when the desert shots appear earlier in the film than the ones in Venice, things get really exciting.

@@ericpeeters3400 I think no matter which scene will come first , the Venice bridge or the desert , both are threat to Ilsa. The desert had a key scene which might Ilsa's death scene and the Venice bridge which might Ilsa get killed and Ethan is too late to save her , anyway , let's keep our fingers crossed Ilsa didn't die in both Mission Impossible dead reckoning 1 and 2

@@stevenharsono9911 : I don't think she will die in that desert landscape, just wake up and give Ethan the key. I'm guessing she could be pregnant with Ethan at that point and will therefore keep aloof for the rest of the movie until their child is born in movie 8. She will return in the next film in a less heroic role, but mainly as Ethan's lover and mother of his child who knows. And Atwell takes her place as fellow Ethan Team member, but his heart is with Ilsa and their child. But the producers want us to believe that she will die in the next movie, so they show those scenes on that bridge in Venice and in the desert to lead us astray. I really hope so!!! Because anyway, her character deserves a much better ending than dying in the upcoming movies. How many times has she saved Ethan's life in the previous 2 movies??? Ethan owes her an obligation to save her life someday. After all, with his life for her and possibly their child if necessary!!!
