I had completed data entry in "form-1" . Now I created another form called "form-2" where some of the data in "form-2" are the same in "form-1", may I know how I should assign the value from "form-1" to minimize the data entry time? Thx. I tried @DEFAULT but it doesn't seems to work.

Have a quick question. My "Email To" drop-down menu only includes "Project Users" and no option for "Email Field Variables" even though I have a form that contains an "email" field as an Identifier. How can I get the "email field variables" field to show up when creating an alert/notification? Thanks!!

5:59 You can pipe in information from other fields ONLY for text fields? Not radio field, dropdownlist or a checkbox? Seems like an arbitrary limitation. How can I copy the value of a radio button or dropdownlist from another field in the same project?

Great video, thank you. How is it possible to embed field labels? In the REDCap help it says "It is possible to embed a Descriptive field inside another field, even though descriptive fields do not have an actual input element for saving data. Embedding a descriptive field would merely relocate the field's label to the new location where it is embedded." but if I actually create a decritive field and embed it, the field label of the descriptive variable does not show up. E.g., one answer option is "0, Haus bzw. Allgemeinarzt {mrv_11} | ..." with mrv_11 defined as descriptive field and label and branching logic are correct (tried it out with embedded text field, that worked. But as descriptive field -> the label won't show up) Thank you very much in advance and best wishes!

It's strange that the editor doesn't have any validation over changing the codes in the multiple choice to detect inconsistencies. A free text edit for those doesn't feel correct.
