The Ranchers Horse Sale is an annual event that takes place in Juntura, Oregon every June. Established in 1993, the sale has consistently provided a supply of finished ranch horses and well started colts from the Bentz's Spur Brand breeding program and honest consignors. Our goal is to match the right horse to the right buyer and preserving our western traditions.

The broodmares are gathered off the High Desert where they run year-round, foaling and making their way in the rocky terrain and harsh climate. They are wanting buyer so show the date of the sale or location or phone for contact (nothing on here I cannot tell if the sale is over or when it is or if there is a auction. Well the sale is over two months ago but no sale results or follow up, good luck with this type of advertisement it might get watched some time this year.

Ok, a dumb question - You folks have probably said this many times already, but I’m curious what exactly they eat out there. Is it mostly scrub brush and what nutritional value does it have? They obviously do very well on it!
Not a dumb question! The eat perennial bunchgrasses. From the sky, it may just look like lots of sagebrush but there is a lot of forage in the way of native and seeded grasses which are highly nutritional! We rotate them through different large pastures to ensure the grasses have time to recover and regrow each spring. Thanks for the question!
