360 VR - Bracket Racing - I crossed the finish line a few thousandths of a second ahead.
A bracket racing format means two cars with different performance levels have a staggered start to in theory cross the finish line at the same time.
Go too fast, disqualified,
red light, disqualified,
react too slow, lose
drive too slow, lose.
Just had this old unused footage and thought I'd see how a full 360 video would turn out. Sorry for the bad quality, the 360 camera isn't so HD.
This race was from mid 2018 when I was competing in the local drag strip "street series" bracket racing tournaments. I was much slower and much more consistent then compared to now at the time of upload. Tim with the supercharged and turbocharged 2j torana won the entire championship that year.
I plan to return in 2020 when I go back to automatic.
