I used to hate Upham because he was portrayed being cowardly and when he had the chance, act in a way that he was the bravest. But looking back in the earlier part of the movie, the German though responsible for the death of Capt. Miller's men was spared time and again. But Upham here felt that enough is enough. He was kind enough to spare the other German soldiers here.

Anyone think someone should make a godfather 4 to try and erase the terrible godfather 3. We know at the end of godfather 3 we see Michael dying, but with Al Pacino still with us, we could pick up on the story from where Mary dies and Vincent takes over. With Vincent now the Don, we can layer in his relationship with his half siblings from his Dad's wife Julie. (Francesca, Kathryn, Frank and Santino Jr) Plus, Connie kids Victor and Michael. There is a story in there somewhere given that Godfather 3 was set in early 1980's. At that time, Michael was 60, so you could move forward to 2000 and he is 80 (just before he dies) The kids would all be near their 50's with young adult kids of their own. Since Tesla wanted to keep himself secluded from public and Edison's men he downplayed as an assistant which makes sense as the movie is all about the significance of the assistants than the actual performers.What my question is ...why would Nolan choose David Bowie... This is my answer....tell me what you feel... Mainstream approach is Nolan chose a famous celebrity to play the iconic scientist Tesla Or... Nolan chose David Bowie to play a fake Tesla. Why David Bowie when there are so many other stars who could have rather acted in the role. David Bowie is not an actor..he is a singer..a musician...did Nolan deliberately choose someone from a different profession to act in the role , on purpose? Since he isn't the real Tesla...he chose someone who is not an actor by profession to play a fake Tesla. The whole movie is about how a magician dresses up his trick to fool the audience. Did Nolan dress up a singer as an actor to fool the audience?? Leaving a slight hint that he's a fake Tesla while the real one is the assistant 😳

In the scene where Costigan was waiting for Madeline outside of her apartment, the envelope Costigan gave to Madeline contained some form of proof that Sullivan was irrefutably the rat for Costello. I imagine it contained additional instructions that Madeline should pass this information on to Dingham as he was the only person that could be trusted. You may argue otherwise, but if you cast your mind back to the scene between Costello and Costigan in the restaurant where Costello is drawing pictures of rats he briefly says the following during his drunken tirade: [Costello to Costigan] You got a girlfriend? Ex wife? Old girlfriend? They're stupid... but that's what brings you down in this business... By the end of the film Madeline and Sullivan are more or less confirmed as separated - Madeline is the old girlfriend, ex wife etc. Costello through his drunken ramblings foreshadowed that is was Madeline who would go on to bring down Sullivan.

They showed how difficult it was to find 1. The machine is one part you don't need to overthink- or have your AI overthink. All the information is given to us throughout the movie. Watch it again

The woman he loved dies by the corrupt hands of what he was trying to stop,..he to is responsible to her Death & for the continuation of evil by Noah Cross. China Town is one of the best Films ever created. Few films match this caliber of beauty in film making.
