Your doctor would give the journey instructions to the AI agent, who would play the role of care companion and support for both the clinical team and the patient, making the AI agent an asset to your doctor.

I still regularly relax by listening to my Mancini LPs. Thank you for all the great music Henry! RIP
Excellent and informative! Greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
I just got released from the hospital in St. Helena California after having a Vats mini maze. I wish I had paid the $14k American and gone to Japan to have Dr. o do it. I couldn't wait a whole year for Dr. Wolf. My surgery was Thursday morning and after it I went through hell. The nurse, Jill kept insisting on giving me Laudanum push button instead of Morphine which I have had before and I know works on me. It didn't even slightly dull the pain. I writhed in pain all night with her telling me to "just push the button" . Then she'd tell me I pushed the button too often and locked it out. The next day I told one of the doctors about it and he ran off to "take care of that problem". From then I was given morphine and I was fine. Another man in the hospital who had the same operation done the same day said he was in horrible pain that night, and that he has had other heart surgery that didn't hurt nearly as much. He too was shocked that it hurt so much. If I had it to do over, I would not have done it. I spent 2 1/2 more days in bed before I could walk. This is just a warning to you all to work it out ahead of time that they will change pain meds if one doesn't work and will keep you out of pain like everyone on the Dr. Wolf Min Maze Facebook page says they did. I would rather live with Afib. I wish I had tried losing more weight before trying this. I'm 5'7" and 169 lbs which isn't huge but maybe 20 more lbs would have helped. I sure as hell wouldn't have done this. If you are going to Dr. Dunnington, be sure to ask if you can have Pierre as your nurse. He was amazing.
We were lucky to have Chris as our mayor in Calistoga for as long as we did - he's a great guy!
Great interview
What movie did u watch
Don't let Gan talk you into any heart maze surgery, or any procedure. Gan talked my 69 year old mother into it and she died from complications following the surgery at 69. She told me she was having the surgery at 69 so live into her 80's or 90's, I begged her not to do it but she said Gan was amazing, and that it would be ok. Now she's gone. She's died from complications from the surgery Dan did. I can't believe Gan Dunnington still has his medical license. I remember visiting my mom at St. Helena Hospital the day after the surgery and she was crying saying that she made a mistake, that it hurt so bad and she wished she never did it. Gan had told her it would be minimally evasive, which she found out was a total lie. She was in massive pain after the surgery, had a fever and Dan told her that was part of the healing process, a total lie. I could tell the nurse knew something was massively wrong as when I asked her why my mom was in so much pain she said she was had given her a ton of pain medication which was barely helping. Gan told my mom she had less than 1% chance of dying he said, now she's gone leaving a huge gap in our family, six grandchildren that don't have an amazing grandmother any more. Our family will never be the same. Our medical system is broken and Gan is the reason. Profits over peoples lives, unbelievable. You killed my mom and you don't even care "I don't know that I did anything wrong" - Gan - she's dead because of your botched surgery - how do you live with yourself? Hopefully I save someone by posting this as St. Helena Hospital wants to just sweep it under the rug. Insult to injury was saying it would cost us $15k for an autopsy which my mom wouldn't have wanted which is apparently outrageous and likely to try to get us to not do it and just cover this up. Gan is truly a terrible human being. Netflix needs to make a documentary about St. Helena Hospital and Gan Dunnington, the profit $$$ king/killer. I hope Deana who posted below made it throughGan's procedure. He should be in jail.
Wow. When did this happen? @NorCalGSXR

Thanks for making this video! I am having A-Fib surgery done by Dr, Gan & this video was very helpful to me & my family! Deana
Hello Deana, looks like you had Afib surgery now over a year ago. Wondered how you are doing now? I am trying to decide between a Hybrid maze vs a Wolf Mini Maze. Any comments? Thank you! Greg
@@getech Hi Greg, I’m looking at both procedures, as well. Dr. Dunnington seems lovely and amazing, and is highly recommended. I’ve met Dr. Wolf and he’s great also. Do you mind sharing which procedure you decided on, and how you’re doing? I hope you’re doing great and are in SR! Many thanks, Stacy
@@stacy7543 Hello Stacy, I have had paroxysmal afib for about 8 years. I've researched quite a bit over the years looking for a more permanent solution to my problem. I pretty much gave up on the notion of an ablation due to it's history of not being a very long term fix. Added to that, it seems many have to have repeat procedures just to keep in SR. So I followed Dr. Wolf and in fact was scheduled twice before meeting Dr. Dunnington at St. Helena Hospital. After conferring with him, I was fully convinced that Dunnington would offer a similiar if not exact type of procedure as Dr. Wolf provides. In fact they use the same tools made by Atricure. Also being here in CA, the thought of being in Houston for no less than 11-14 days didn't seem doable for me. Dr. Dunnington himself said it would be insanity for me to travel to TX when you have the same procedure in your backyard. So long story short, after my afib started to increase from once monthly to one a week and with no specific triggers, I scheduled the procedure (VATS Maze). I had it done last week, 10/21. As a huge benefit of this type of surgery, I had my appendage clipped off which is where blood clots form. This will allow me to get off blood thinners forever. For the last few days, I feel 95% recovered, able to do most things I did before. All that's left is a bit of fatigue, but I've had little to no pain since the procedure. Next appointment on 11/10, they will take more tests and presumably discuss with me the hybrid part of this procedure--the follow up ablation which can touch up from the inside of the heart what the maze couldn't reach from the outside of the heart. I've been in SR since the procedure. I certainly have no regrets on my choice of Dr's. Dunnington is excellent and so are the staff at the hospital. I was very well taken care of. Also, living here in Santa Rosa, it was a 30 minute drive for me. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out. Take care, Greg
@@getech Thank you so much, Greg, for your thoughtful reply and for sharing such helpful information, it is sincerely appreciated. I’m very happy to hear that you had a successful procedure and that you’re doing so well - it’s encouraging, thank you! My current EP team (who are the best of the best, love them) works with Dr. Dunnington, so I’m looking forward to meeting him. I’ve had three unsuccessful ablations, unfortunately, for long-standing persistent AF, so the hybrid/mini-maze procedure appears to be my best hope for ever being in sinus rhythm again (and also getting off blood thinners). I had heard that the procedure can be painful, particularly in the heart, so I’m glad to hear you did not have significant pain. Good luck with your next steps, and I wish you continued good health and all the best on your AF journey. Take care, Stacy
@@getech Dont do it, he talked my mom into it and she passed away from complications of the surgery a few weeks later.
This make my vomit.
This is a very insightful interview. Thank you. Aaron - Uganda 🇺🇬
