Used to have one of those b4 going up to 1694. It was a superb tractor, never let me down.

We had a 1594 commemorative edition, it lasted 3 years here. May have been a bad one but it was constantly breaking down, self destructed. It wasn’t even on hard work. I drove it 3 times and one occasion it dropped the gear oil from the prop seal failing. The 1490 we had was better but both them had engine rebuilds. Like the magpie ones. Nice cabs and visibility on them.

Hello, where is the pressure relief valve located on the 990 Imple? And do you have a metal screen that serves as the transmission oil filter for this model?

I’m in Australia, my grandfather bought a new Fordson Dexta and a Ford Zephyr MK II in 1958, i was born in 1955 and by the late 60s Imwas spending a lot of time on that tractor doing things like plowing, disc harrowing, carting hay out to feed sheep, spraying thistles with swing out boom arms very hilly country and rabbit warrens, 🤬🤬🤬, spreading fertiliser with a spreader that was converted from horse pulled, spraying the orchard withna towed PTO sprayer, and numerous other jobs. It developed a leaking cylinder head that on startup and being a vertical exhaust spark arrestor blew dirty water over you when it started, I was still at an Agricultural High School in South Australia and when Dad was away (my grandfather had passed in 69) i removed the bonnet and the cylinder head and made him go and buy a gasket set. It was still going okay when they sold out in 1986 and retired. I also drove a Fordson Major for an employer I had when I moved to Queensland it had a lot of hours on it. Interesting video.
