Hey Josh. I’m in 8th grade and want to get into aau but I don’t know how to. I’m a good player so I have confidence I could make a lot of teams but I don’t know how to get registered or learn when tryouts for a team are. I need help being able to figure this stuff out because I really want to get better for the future. Thanks!
@@TwinBS Hi! That’s awesome that you want to join AAU. My best advice to ask around. AAU teams aren’t as easy to join as a high school team. See if friends know of any teams and look online in your area. I’ve got a video about AAU that might help: ua-cam.com/video/VtJDyBE-TrY/v-deo.html

Remember, NBA legend Bill Russell got cut from middle school and high school jv team until his senior year he got a spot on varsity as a starter. He played in Uni of San Fransisco and had a 13 year NBA career. Resillience is important to become successful instead of giving up.

I mostly struggle with playing defence. It would be cool to have some basic fundamental tips on good ways to stress the offensive player so he cant shoot. No stress with making the video but it would be cool to see in the future 🙂👍

Can you get into a lower level like a d2 or d3 college with great aau tape with a lot of strengths but without varsity film?
