JetCut's Voortman 310 bevel Plasma cutting 10mm Mild Steel
Переглядів 134Рік тому
These 10mm Mild Steel profiles are first Drilled then Countersunk by the machining head on the Voortman 310, then the plasma profile cuts the OD & ID including Bevel cutting the edges. JetCut's Voortmand 310 is ideal for mild steel profiles which require plasma edges but more accurate drilled, tapped or counter sunk holes. The Voortman 310 can also cut bevelled edges or weld preps. www.jetcutit...
A Belter of a Salmon in torrential rain, Aboyne Water, River Dee

The unluckiest fish on the Dee. Apologies for the language, it all got a little bit exciting as my nephew had buggered off with the net and it was my sister-in-law's first fish.

Want to Lean to tell lb not 20 at all !!! If that was 20 she lost it way she was with the rod nice first fish . now try and do it in the dark !! On own no torch 😊😊
How much did it swell after you were done?
20lb is very over the top pal, nice fish for herself to get on the fly tho. Hopefully many more to come
As anglers we all feel that pain
10lbs. 12 at most. Definitely not 20!
Yep, not even a teenager!
Yes gross overestimated for click bait
Amazing how often it is the ladies who show us the way ! Whatever happened to 'equality' .....?!
Well done both of you, cracking first fish..
Nice to see care for the fish, quick photo with the aim of keeping it in the water. Cracker of a first fish!!
Thanks for the comment. Ideally I would not have had it out of the water as much as that, however, it was difficult to curb Hilary's enthusiasm.
ᑭᖇOᗰOᔕᗰ 💯
Unlucky
couple of big fish for sure! good work telling your friend not to put his fingers in the gills! He should know better at his age.... Finavon is a lovely place to fish.
Oh the pain.
Congratulations Geoff on catching two such large salmon on a small rod… Pot Belly Pig fly has always been one of my favourites… Good luck @ “Tight Lines”…..👍👍👍
Harry, thanks. It was an epic day. Both fish took within a yard of each other, but 6 hours apart. I have caught a lot of my fish on a Pot Bellied Pig, therefore thank very much to Peter Witteringham who I believed invented it.
@@geofflockett8506 Hi Geoff……Nice to hear from you……Yes the P.B Pig is certainly a good fly…….I first started tying/using it in 2001 following an article In the T/Salmon by a gentleman named Peter Whittingham…….He was a Ghillie on the River Ness… I tied it it various colours …the most successful were Red……Yellow and Brown……… I first used the red one on the river Nith around late autumn and landed five salmon with it… Needless to say it became one of my favourites. Like yourself I do fish in Perthshire but never fished the South Esk………Maybe one day I will give it a go! Anyway keep fishing/smiling @ catching……..Good luck…👍👍👍
@@harryboyle9920 Harry, the South Esk is a great little river. It has a good Sea Trout run in June and is ideal for night fishing. For salmon the best time is August to October with some water. It is spatie, therefore you need a reasonable amount of water for it to fish well in daylight. The North Esk is also excellent. Tight lines
The evening after we caught those 2 salmon I also caught 2 sea trout in the tail of the same pool.
@@geofflockett8506 Hi Geoff…….Many thanks for the information………I will add the South Esk to my ‘Wish List’. Good luck @ Tight Lines for the future..👍👍👍
Well done Geoff…..quite an achievement to catch two such large salmon on a small rod… Pot Belly Pig has always been one of my favourite flies Tight Lines @ Good Luck..👍👍👍
Where is the south esk !

Near Forfar, east coast of Scotland.
@@tonysearle6449 Tony, thanks for the correct answer. I recall my teachers often saying to read the question properly before answering.

Hi great vid! This is Rosie BTW🤗
Thank you very much, what do you think of the other videos
Michael, we generally use better quality Ply Wood so that it does not de-laminate.
where i worked we used marine grade plywood, but we only used it to make engineering prototypes and templates before building the actual machines out of steel or aluminum. but from what i could see after the cut plywood dried out there was no degradation or rotting of the plywood even after several years.
@@marzsit9833 if you use good quality Ply it is fine after cutting with Water Jet.
Hi geoff, does the plywood need to be the sort that can be used outside? I mean what would happen if you cut the cheaper in house plywood. Would the plywood open up in time because you cut lt with this method? Greetings michiel holland
Michael, It should be ok. The Ply does get wet when being Water Jet Cut, however, this can be minimised therefore there is no significant effect. (Apologies for the late reply)
what model waterjet?
