I know this video is 3 years old, but it makes me feel sane. I JUST started getting into brandy/cognac coming from whiskey. This bottle in particular just blew me away as someone who tends to prefer scotches. For the prices they're charging for this and the XO, it's WAY better value than even the very bottom of the shelf scotches. I've basically converted to cognac for my "every day" pour, because the value is so good by comparison. And as i started getting more expensive the value was still there, where a $60 cognac is in the realm of a $100 scotch.

in english its pronounced as you stated at first "MetAxa" but in greek its "metaxA" with the accentuation on the last "A". cheerio P.S.: im flaming my Christmas pudding with metaxa all the time haha

Here in the UK we can get hold of all three of these bottles and I was surprised by just how good they actually are, okay I've not had the EXTRA aged yet but the other two are superb when you factor in the cost of them ! I did get caught up in the higher priced bourbons for a good while but I'm certainly enjoying getting back into the budget friendly bourbons again, Jim Beam is a great name and a great distillery with a very respected heritage when it comes to Bourbon. I'm gonna run through a few of your other videos now as you have certainly 'hit the nail' with this video, thanks again guys.

In Wisconsin we are real big on Korbel Brandy. My question about this stuff is , does it mix with Coke good and would you pair it with a fish fry or a meat raffle.

where i live i notice someone chucks out 1 or 2 bottles of these every 2 week or so, they must really be into but im collecting on the return hahahah

i got me a small bottle of vsop napoleon cortel brandy and yes thank you for saying it because i also thought it tastes scotch like j&b light whisky so not sure if this is how they all tasting these days or what, for something supposedly only made of grapes there is alot more going on , mine had an aroma of a plumb brandy i drink from serbia with some kind of orchard fruity aroma like pear nail polish or orange vanila, honey caramel and sweet taste with a bit of oakyness like a whisky finish even the glass smells like phenolics of peat but it was very smooth all the way through

añejo has a very bourbon taste for me, it's enjoyable and easily sipped or mixed. I've not tried the crystalino yet.

to me, the white was the bottle I partied with back in the day, and one I can still go back to. The black is pretty damn good to this day. just a few drops of water to open it up and you have a great bourbon. the double oak is a whiskey that really holds up beautifully against a block of ice, but is a bit too woody neat.

Found some of these in a hotel in LA. I've been craving them ever since.
