God add some music or somethinng
can someone please help me. I have this alarm and bought a new fob as the only one broke, I lost the instrucions and can not figure out how to programe it. I searched ever single part of the internet I could imagine for some kind of information on it and so far you the only person to even mention this alarm and I don't think the company is in business any more.
+Kevin Weil Crap, you are right. The website is gone. I don't remember how to program a new remote but IF I find the directions I'll have to upload them somewhere. Have to try and remember where I might have put that stuff.
+Greg E thanks for the help I know there is a black button in the back of the controller and it has something to do with that. I actually got mine to program but I'm not 100% sure what I was just clicking that button and random buttons on the fob and it finally programmed. it seemed to be hold the button on the controller and hit the lock button twice on the fob but again I'm not 100% sure 😭
Clutch adjustment procedure, as transcribed from the video [with my notes added]: 1. Put your cycle on a stand. 2. Move the gear shift lever out of the way. 3. Loosen the clutch cable so the clutch lever has no tension. [1/2" and 9/16" wrenches] 4. Remove the clutch inspection cover. [T27 Torx] 5. Push the arm back towards the rear wheel. 6. Turn the adjusting screw counter-clockwise until it stops, then one quarter turn clockwise and replace the nut. [flat head screwdriver] 7. Replace the clutch inspection cover. [7-9 ft/lbs] 8. Tighten the clutch cable. 9. Squeeze the clutch lever several times. 10. Check the clutch cable free-play at the cable housing. 11. Tighten the locking nut and replace the rubber boot. Cheers, Greg!
Do you turn the adjustment screw counter clockwise until it stops or just until you feel it releasing? And then a quarter turn clockwise. I know the manual says a quarter to half a turn. If I go to half a turn, then would I not be putting more separation between the plates? Or if that's the wrong terminology a quarter turn if plates are not too worn. Also, on the forum you say to back off the adjustment screw clockwise a quarter turn. Isn't that really loading the throwout bearing when you turn it clockwise and you're not really backing off?
@@dylandream2248 it's been too long since I worked on that bike to answer your question. All I can say is what's written was exactly my procedure on a real bike.
So where did you get that gopro mount on the oil cooler?
Yup, cylinders were very far out of round and the piston was flopping around at the bottom of the stroke. Put in a 1050cc kit and it has been much better. Also did new lifters and a valve job while I was in that far. Make sure to check the conn. rods to see if they pass the wear limit tests or you could do a bunch of work for nothing.
Did u ever figure out what this is mine is doing the same thing
Yes it is the same on XB12 models.
does it work the same on a xb12s?
No if you put it on a swingarm stand, yes if you leave it on the side stand.
If it had more motor it would make a decent little sports car akin to the Fiat 500. The thing corners like crazy so far and stays planted in situations I expect to see the stability control light up. Otherwise it's pretty decent so far for "basic" transportation. Very similar to my old Metro hatchback but higher scale features. Has a couple really nice body kits to dress it up if you want from Korean Auto Imports, maybe in a couple years. Snow will be the real test, hoping for the best.
So is the purpose of this to make the clutch engagement looser or stiffer when pressing on the lever?
Thanks I"ll give it a go, looks easy enuff....
Not bad but Jesus I've never been so bored man!
What did you use for the actual ball socket? I saw you milled an aluminum attachment that was compatible with the Gopro case. I've an XB12X and would like to machine a mount for the same place. Cheers!
Open back. Found a worn motor mount at the end of last season which introduced a lot of vibration, hoping that new mounts will make the video more stable now that the weather is finally starting to warm up. Hoping to mount this on the turn signal mount on the right hand side this year.
Great tip. Thanks.
First...
Yes, this was the open back. And since the only other changes were covering the front button and changing the thumbscrew for a bolt I have to assume that this was the fix I was looking for. Haven't been able to do more testing because of snow but I did find that most of the rattle sounds were from the top shutter button rattling in the camera. When the rattle is loud enough it will lower the gain on the microphone and make all the other noises much lower. The shutter button should be fixed now.
This was with an open back too!?!? Just covering the front button and change the thumb screw for a bolt?
