DOOM 2 (no commentary, testing screen capture software on this computer)

Also my mouse was dying on me which is why I had trouble turning. Anyway, I'm setting up new stuff because I'm thinking about streaming maybe on twitch or something so I was playing around with OBS and really just thought to test it on DOOM because it's one of my favorite games, plus I know it kinda well to a certain point so it was familiar territory.

I can't believe there's an international fandom for this movie and that everyone in the comments has these cool deep analysis and thoughts about the movie, the characters and this scene is praising the movie for great portrayal of su*cide meanwhile in its home country most adults at the time of release interpreted it as: internet = bad, everything is fault of the internet, don't let your kids online

Sylwia is such an interesting character. I truly feel like she didn't entirely want to commit suicide; she was just so steeped into this world that whenever her mind was looking for love and someone to confide in it was through the means of committing suicide with them, as her conscious mind truly believed that she had experienced everything in that life and that the next step was suicide. If she truly was fed up with her life as much as she tries to let on, I doubt she would of been waiting around for someone she was interested in to get a prescription and meet up with her rather than just buying some over-the-counter meds and taking matters into her own hands. After being dejected from society and her family so long, with her only aspiration being the experience and achievement of pain, it only makes sense that her genuine romantic relationships would stem from things like a bond over suicidal ideation. Subconsciously, in still being able to look for someone to have a romantic relationship with and a genuine bond like she had with Dominik, be it because they like talking about suicide or whatever else, her brain was actually enjoying and experiencing more in her life than just pain; it's proof that Sylwia had more will than she even thought herself to keep on living. Even when Dominik seems to disappear, she keeps on living and doesn't move on to anybody else because she still has hope that he can come back and be in her life and enrich it like he had been. After hearing that Dominik is dead, however, she truly realizes that her emotions toward him weren't purely conditional with the suicide pact, as if they had been then his death would simply be a road-bump in the overall plan and not as impactful; she had formed a genuine connection with Dominik that she realized she could never experience again, it truly pained her likely more than even the self-harm she has been committing over the last few years. In experiencing the death of someone she truly had emotional feelings towards and a genuine kind of connection with, she likely gains insight into just how her family may feel about her reclusiveness and just how they may feel if she actually went through with the suicide pact. Of course though, Sylwia is still incredibly flawed, as she still took advantage of his depressive state by offering a safe-space for his identity and experiences (which was the chief topic of his social ridicule) but encouraging him to seclude from and become more adverse to people whom he felt already cared very little about him, inevitably worsening his depression in a way that made him codependent on her for happiness, which would cause him to be psychiatrically evaluated so Sylwia could use him as a vector for attaining prescription drugs whilst simultaneously pushing his dad to permanently cut his contact with the Suicide Room; of course Sylwia had no way of knowing this, but she had formed such a strong connection with him, that her absence after his dad forcefully cut their contact was enough to make him want to at least attempt (and succeed) at killing himself. Had Sylwia never made Dominik get those prescription drugs, he would still be alive, although the same could be said for his dad simply never cutting his contact with the Suicide Room (although it is much more understandable of thing to do given context than convincing someone to get prescription drugs). At the very end of it all, Sylwia had essentially partly pushed Dominik into becoming what was just another Suicide Room video, however, unlike the ones she indulged in watching as a way to aspire towards death, this one is nothing more than a reminder of Dominik's suffering and something that should of never happened; something which all of those Suicide Room videos are at their very core, with the relative impersonality of the unknown victim to the viewer being the only thing that draws the line between them just being another suicide video or a horrific display of your loved one's death after an indeterminate period of suffering. The fact that what happened in this movie was so easily avoidable, just like the real life scenarios it aims to mirror, makes it hit so much harder. This is truly a masterpiece film, there's just so many layers to the characters and the message it has to convey.

This poor miserable kid without a good dad or mom 😭 this world has become degraded, degenerate, disgusting, and he sees the filth and hates it, yet he takes part in the filth and hates himself for it. Doesn't know where to turn, doesn't know what love is. The girl tells him ''we're different, we're the freaks, out of the norm; treasure that'' i can see he perceives the world in a different way which could help him be a better person if he chose to be, but being different or standing out is not always good, just like it's not good to be a psycho or a hoarder, he has some bad differences about him and he's not okay, he's hurting, he's unbalanced. Why do you think he wonders if he may be attracted to guys? He doesn't have his parents' attention or love, the teaching and example and affirmation from his father. He needs it, he's screaming silently for it, but instead this girl comes along telling him 'It's good to be different''.....oh yeah, is she gonna top 'rebellious', 'lustful', 'revengeful', and 'crazy' on top of that? He's unique, i see it, i see his potential, but he's so lost and so empty that now he's looking in the wrong places. My heart ached for the poor boy and the others he was talking to, i just wanted to hold tightly to them and not say a word, let them yell, let them scream, let them talk, i'll just stand there and i won't go anywhere. It hurts to watch another hurt, i have never experienced despair on that level, and yet i understand and can feel the pain emanating off them. I see it in peoples' eyes even when they're smiling and pretending they're okay. I just want to hold them close and tell them i love them so much, i'd say ''Don't hurt yourself, put all the pain on me, make me the punching bag, i will hurt in your place''
